Fabric Make-up is DIFFERENT Than Old Sheets!

THIS is why the NEW Pure Beech Modal Jersey Sheets are NOT as good as the old ones: The fabric make-up is different now! I have two of the old sets that are 70% modal/30% cotton. The new sets are now 100% modal. NOT THE SAME. Please being back the old sets! I have been using the old sheets sets since 2007. These new sheets are nice, but that's about it: JUST NICE. Not as soft and luxurious as the old sets.

Seeing other reviews I must agree the sheets are a bit thin. I'm probably better off not having known the "old quality" but I still really like these sheets.

My wife introduced me to these when we were dating, and now we have 4 sets. There is a small hole in one set from the cat but that happened a few years ago, they have been used and washed a lot and the hole hasn't gotten any bigger.

I do think I ripped a seam a bit on a pillowcase while putting my pillow in it, but I have a memory foam pillow so it's not light by any means

all in all, great soft sheets that will last

My husband and I got these sheets for our wedding and we LOVE them! I was worried they would get too hot at night but they're perfect. Other comments said they got holes in their sheets, but we've had these for about a month now and no holes yet. I've washed them twice and our 50 lb dog jumps on the bed every now and then and they still look new - no pillling either. I will definitely be buying another set or two!

I used to love these sheets...

I went to BB&B with every intention of buying these sheets since I have two sets that I bought a few years ago. They are holding up great, I was just hoping for a new color/ fresh set. The display piece changed my mind right away. The fabric seemed thin, cheap and see through. It is not the thick, soft fabric that I remember buying/ currently use at home. I went with another brand. Bring back the old fabric! It was much nicer.

I bought these sheets in XLT for my son. Disappointed to see the seams opening up on the pillowcases after only 6 months. He has two sets of sheets and extra cases so they should not have worn out so quickly.

BRING BACK THE TURKISH-MADE QUALITY SHEETS!

I used to swear by these sheets. I had about six different colors that I have collected (and still use!) since 2004. THESE WERE THE BEST SHEETS EVER. This absolutely breaks my heart. You know it's bad when eBay sellers are advertising "BBB TURKISH MADE modal sheets" so people know they're getting the classic high-quality product instead of these imposters. I see BB&B is now selling modal sheets that are double and triple the cost of these, maybe THEY'RE quality?? Even if they are, it disgusts me that I have to pay over triple would I used to for the same quality, or by $70 sheets (WHICH ISN'T CHEAP!!) that are thin and quickly get holes in them. CONSUMERS, MAKE YOUR DISSATISFACTION HEARD!

I still have two sets from four years ago and the yar ejust great. A few months ago I bought a set and right out of the box they looked cheaper and light can shine through them. The white set already ripped!

I thought maybe a bad material run and went to buy more because I used to love them that much.

Well, reviews here are obvious they are no longer ANY quality as the original thread counts. Too bad - now they have the name and don't need to make the product like they used too.

These sheets looked beautiful in the package, but when I washed them (cold water, low heat) they came out so crooked and puckered, I couldn't even fold them. They are very thin and I'm sure would not have lasted long at all. BBB has a generous return policy, so I could return them even though they had been washed. NOT worth buying.

I have bought two sets of these sheets in different colors. The original set got many holes in them for no apparent reason after a few weeks. I just bought another set and washed them before putting them on the bed. When I got them out of the dryer, there were already 4 small holes. They have not even been used. This is ridiculous, and they are not worth the money.

I love Jersey Knit sheets. Love them. My family got some years ago from BB&B and they're still wonderful. However, last week i went and got this set from BB&B and after one week of being on my bed, they've piled all over and are completely uncomfortable. This is a big let down. I never return things to stores, but I wish i had the receipt for these sheets. If someone finds better jersey sheets, let me know!

These are the most comfortable sheets I have ever slept on....however I've found that they only last a few months. I bought a set and they ended up wearing thin and ripping so I bought 2 more sets and the same thing has happened. I cannot comprehend spending $80 on sheets that cannot even last a year.

Luxuriously Soft

It has been eleven years since I found a set of sheets as soft as the Pure Beech Jersey bedding. (That was a Waverly Egyptian 1000 set that I had purchased at BB&B.) Since then, I have searched in vain trying one sheet after another that would meet my high standards for softness. I came very close two years ago when I found a 70%-30% modal-cotton blend at another store. However, I recently decided to give this set a try by first purchasing just the pillowcases. Wow! That night I was in dreamland. I immediately went back to the store and bought a set of Beech queen-sized sheets. They fit my new pillowtop mattress prefectly. On a scale of 1-10, these rank as a 10. I will stock up on more sets this week. Thank you Bed, Bath and Beyond. Never, ever stop selling these supremely soft sheets.

I have been a long time user of the Pure Beech 100% Modal regular sheets (which I love), but they stopped making them in twin size. I never liked jersey knit sheets before, but thought I would give these a try. They are extremely soft and silky feeling (unlike other jersey knit sheets). They are very thin (you can almost see through them), but I like a lightweight sheet, since I suffer from night sweats. They drape nicely around your body, and provide warmth that way. They cuddle the body in comfort! I highly recommend (although the regular Pure Beech 100% modal sheets are still my all time favorite.)

Softest Sheets I've ever owned.

There are no words to describe how weirdly soft these sheets are. They feel so good! I'd compare them to an old comfy t-shirt, but with an unexpected satin-y feel. Here's the catch: they take about twice as long to dry in the dryer than ordinary sheets. Must be the Beech fibers as opposed to cotton fibers in ordinary sheets. I intend to buy another set. However, I will hang them on the line outside to dry then soften them in the dryer for 5 minutes (instead of running the dryer for an hour to dry them). Also, they do develop tiny little lint balls all over about the size of a grain of sand-but you don't feel them. Try these sheets. You will love them.

These are by far the best sheets I have ever owned. These sheets are very soft. They are warm in the winter and cool in the summer. They are very durable and hardly show age. I bought my first set in 2006 and they lasted 6 years before they started to get a few small holes. Recently I repurchased in a different color and I still love them. I will probably never buy another type of sheets again. I highly recommend them.
