I absolutely love this fondue pot. I've been using these for years and they're still perfect. Regulates temperature and makes fondue sooooo easy! The entire inside is still non-stick, and has NEVER chipped on me. I'm guessing that anyone having trouble with it is either gouging the pot with the metal fondue forks that are included in the set (probably want to give the kids cheap wooden skewers just in case) or using an abrasive material to clean it, which isn't necessary. I definitely recommend this product and have purchased it as a gift for several friends and family members.

Fondue Made Easy

This was my first time making fondue so I was a little nervous about taking a chance on this pot but I'm so glad I did! The only downside is that the cord is only about 2 feet long, designed for a kitchen counter top. Luckily my table is close to an electrical outlet and I was able to plug the pot into a power strip long enough to reach the center of my table. It was so easy to use and easy to clean. I made cheese fondue and it was perfect. I can't wait to try chocolate next!

I bought this and followed the directions that Mae with it to cook chicken and beef in a coq au vin sauce (broth not oil). I followed heating directions to a t!

It came out deliicious and was soooo happy until I went to clean the fondue pot and notice the nonstick surfaced began disintegrating and chipping away. When that happens to nonstick cookware it an be toxic!

I knew eventually that would happen as with most nonstick cookware but after ONE SINGLE USE? I am beyond disappointed.

I intend on returning this item. If the chipping nonstick surface doesn't bother you than this is a great item.

This is a great fondue pot. I've had it for over 5 years now and we use it a lot. It cleans well, it's easy to control the temperature, and still looks new. If you take care of it; wash it by hand with soap and water and try not to scratch the inside, it'll last forever. Great buy!

I got this a few years ago as a birthday gift. it cleans VERY easily, it has many safety features (nonslip legs, easy release electric plug). It has many different heat settings too which is great--if you want it can get HOT. for cheese fondue i only keep it on 3-4. the ONLY downfall is that the power cord is somewhat short (2 1/2 ft) and it says not to use with an extension cord. (I do anyway because my table doesn't have a close plug and I just am extra careful not to trip..although if I did, the safety plug would release anyway) LOVE IT.
