This is hands down the best travel mug ever. It keeps liquid hot or cold for a long time, and never spills if used correctly. This is the 3rd one I have had to purchase since my husband tends to lose them. But it is worth the money.

I've used free promotional travel mugs and others that I've purchased, this Oxo is by far the best. It IS spill proof. It DOES keep beverages hot, 4 hrs for me, but remember this is not a thermos bottle, it's a travel mug. I don't expect it to keep liquids hot all day. It has become my regular use coffee mug in my home as well as my car - for the reasons stated above. The top is a bit hard to clean and sometimes the spring closing mechanism gets stuck. But remember, this is an Oxo product and it is guaranteed for lfe. So, I just bring it back to my place of purchase and get a NEW ONE - no charge, no problem. That's what Oxo has told me to do. Such a deal!! My wife finds is a bit too large for her hands, but for me it fits great. This is the best travel mug on the market. Buy it; see for yourself!!

Very good cup to use with Keurig

I bought this cup because it is one of the few just short enough to use with the Keurig single-cup brewer (it still holds plenty of coffee). Because this cup has no handle, there is no need to align the lid opening with the handle. It also has an excellent closing mechanism that prevents leaks. The only disadvantage is that the cup is not wide enough at the top to allow you to reach the bottom to wash it without a bottle brush, unless you have a very small hand. However, the cover of the cup is easy to thoroughly clean because you can easily untwist the closing mechanism to clean underneath it. Overall, my favorite hot cup.

I bought other brands which didnt work this one is great for : leak proof !!!! but i disagree keeping hot because after a few hours is warm is great to keep cold water i'm looking for a larger one (forwater)but i cant find it also cleaning is painful for the price they could come up with a way to clean especially under the top

This is my favorite travel mug. It does not spill or leak, which is perfect for my accident prone self. I actually put mine in the dishwasher, and have for the last 4 years. As long as the top is clicked open it works great.
I purchased mine at TJ max from about $6 because it had a scratch. The one I have is red, and has a plastic outside. I'm not sure if it is any different from the ones currently being sold. It does appear to be the same from the pictures.

Good but hard to clean

This travel mug works great as far as keeping coffee hot for a long time and is completely leak proof. I throw it in my bag to head to work full of piping hot coffee every morning. the major drawback is that it's extremely difficult to properly clean the lid and it can get pretty 'gunked' up to the point that the botton to click it open sticks. Since it's not dishwasher safe I'm usually standing over my sink with a variety of small implements once a week trying to properly clean it.

I love the mug however it is extremely impossible to clean the lid. The opening where you sip from is spill proof, however it traps particles inside it that I need to clean with a q-tip, even after I rinse it.
