I have the entire Nicole Miller set and it matches my bathroom perfectly. Unfortunately, the soap dispenser is a disaster. Like everyone elses, it started to corrode from the inside causing the gold finish to turn blackish. I will return the whole set and find something more durable. The dispenser did not clog so far, but looks hideous only after 6 weeks of light use. Something in the Soft-Soap must be eating away the interior. Poor design on their part and poor quality control for not pre-testing this.

I, too purchased this soap dispenser in late August, 2011 along with the waste basket, tumbler, and soap dish. The dispenser exterior has begun to reveal a greenish exterior hue and like other negative reviewers, I have not used one dispenser full of 'Softsoap' non-antibacterial liquid soap. I am extremely disappointed. The dispenser garners the most compliments from guests, but the apparent interior lining is comprised of poor materials. // This product is manufactured in China and therein could be the issue.
I will be returning the dispenser seeking a refund or replacement.

Inferior Product

Like the previous reviews, I am now about to replace this dispenser for the 3rd time due to it appears something is eating away the interior and completely fading out the dispenser. I thought maybe the first one faded out due to the soap I was using; however, the second one was filled with a regular non antibacterial soap liquid and also faded before the bottle was finished. I too, bought the entire collection and now have to continuously replace this dispenser.

I've bought several of these soap dispensers and they all get corroded and clogged on the inside. The style and look in my bathroom is gorgeous and I bought all the accessories to go with it, so I'm stuck righ now, constantly replacing this inferior soap dispenser.

I was thrilled to find this adorable, cute little soap dispenser for our tuscan bathroom. It brought together all the colors for us. Just loved it.

Then I used soap in it. I haven't even gotten to finish a whole bottle and just keeps clogging up. Also, the soap (just regular Dial hand soap, not anti-bacterial or anything) seems to be eating away at something metal on the inside. Perhaps the imitation gold color? It makes the soap smell funny, and there are blackened streaks inside the soap it dispenses. Yuck!!!!
We've tried cleaning and everything. Sadly, it's going in the trash. :( :( :(

I would still get other items from the collection however, in a heartbeat. I just think somehow the metal they used for this isn't worth a darn. It's ruined the whole product!
