honestly... before this, a while back... I had a Messermeister, which was a 105$ torch... something in that (idk what) broke, which made me have to go get another one.. having a bad experience with that brand (having it for not even 5 weeks) i wanted something else. Heard great things about "vectors" from a lot of people, went to local smoke shop, payed, almost 80$ for it, including tax... 4 months later... i guess some spring in the button broke... and seeing it as that was the only smoke shop that carried it, and they were jerks, and rip offs there... i saw this one... the Bonjour...
i was a little concerned about the price, seeing it as it was only 29,99... (thinking back to, u get what u pay for..) but looking at the review, i saw good things,and figured it's only 30$ why not try it.

and let me tell you... i was AMAZED!!!!!! this thing has EVERY single feature that BOTH my other torches had.. not to mention, it's WWAAAAYYY better than the Vector... i mean.. NO comparison....

and it was probably JUST as good as the messermeister... if not... better.. ONLY difference is, is that the messer. had a small gauge on side to let you know when it was empty... but i don't think that's necessary, seeing it as u should be easily able to tell, by the weight difference..

i'm MORE than happy with this purchase...

ONLY down side to this is -- it's SUCH a hot seller.. it's almost impossible to find.. you really have to check the website, check the store you want for availability, call it in, put it on hold, and then go in... otherwise.. you'd be better off buying it ONLINE!!!!

and like most people, i myself think employees, or people who work for the company go on to the site to write these reviews.. but i am a REAL customer from ROCKLIN, CA. so know that this review is OFFICIAL, and completely HONEST, and UNBIASED

I had been using a china made torch from the tool store for way too long. This thing is amazing. Just dont over fill it or you wont get the results you want. This thing is solid you can tell the quality when you pick it up.

I bought this to replace a nearly identical torch purchased from a jewelry supply vendor for 39.99. I use it to anneal and solder metal for jewelry making and find it reliable and easy to use.

This $30 torch is a replica of the $70 Vector Nitro torch on the inside. Works reliably and the flame is nice.

And mine DID have instructions, so I'm not sure what the previous review was about. It's not a very hard piece of equipment to operate, regardless.

I highly recommend.

Started out great, but....

I bought this as an upgrade to the $19.99 torch i also bought from BB&B because that one was hard to operate if you are using it frequently. This one is easy to operate...when it works. Mine stopped working after about 20 uses (i use it as a candle lighter too). Despite refilling it with the zippo fuel, it has just died and randomly will light if i stop trying for a while.

I am going to return it today....

Good torch for two days, then it malfunctions

Bought this torch for cooking and lighting the fireplace. It worked very well for two days, but now it functions erratically. It won't light first try, and often takes 10-15 clicks to make the flame start up.

Very disappointing product.

Well I am sure that this product works just fine and dandy, but I purchased at the store - the day before Christmas Eve, got home, fueled it, and no instructions were in the box so I cannot figure out how to actually operate it! So, after non-stop shopping for 3 days I guess I'm going to have to trek back out into the traffic to get the instructions since I cannot seem to find them on line!
