I read many different reviews on these measuring cups and many people agreed that you will also need your old fashioned glass measuring cup, so I bought both. Granted you can not place these cups in the microwave however you will become completely spoiled by being able to measuring while pouring into the cup. It sounds so trivial but seriously after experiencing this luxury there is no turning back. I find them easy to clean and love all the sizes.

I had to get new measuring cups because my cup was cracked. I saw this and thought it was a great deal since it was a 3 pack and I love OXO brand. I just used it and I was super impressed. You don't have to bend down and it's so much easier to use and you save time. Handles are nice. These are hard plastic and lightweight. Easy to store since you can stack them.

What a smart idea. You think you don’t really need them, but once you have them and use them, you’ll wonder how you ever lived without them. I now only use my Pyrex for warming/cooking in the microwave. Oxo makes everything useful and needed.

I agree that the design of the measuring cup is helpful--when pouring a liquid into the measuring cup, it's nice to know exactly when to stop pouring when you're looking at it from above.

I need to add though--I've had the product for a little over a year. The other day when I was washing it, some of the red writing on the side of the measuring cup started to scratch off. I hope that doesn't continue! If it keeps happening, I may not be able to read measurements on the side!
