Customer Reviews for Chef's Planet™ Non-Stick Oven Liner
I've had one of these for several years and no problems, plus very easy cleanup. I have an electric oven and this is placed on the bottom of the oven, beneath the elements. When I need to clean it, I pull it out, take it to the sink and any dried chunks just pop off. A quick wipe with the sponge and the entire surface is clean. Then I slide it back into the oven, under the elements, and I'm good to go once again. I'm getting one of these for a friend who just spent hours cleaning up after a major spillover, taking off the oven door to get the job done and then not being able to get it back on without help from my husband. I know she'll love this.

Worth the Money

I have been using oven liners for approximately four years. They are the best of the best. All you do is wash them clean and there is no mess in your oven!! Occasionally you need to replace them. This is a replacement since my last one lasted about a year and believe me it is well worth the money! The ones from Bed Bath and Beyond are thicker and more durable than the cheaper ones so you don't need to replace them often.

I had a liner years agol Loved it.I bought this one recently after cleaning oven, Read direction not to put on bottom of electric oven, So I placed on bottom wire rack.I placed my dinner to bake on it. It caused my baking to burn and ruin my dinner, I removed it and guess I will wipe up spills. I need to use bottom rack of oven for baking so it totally did not work.

Dangerous to birds

Please be advised that this product is very dangerous to use if you have pet birds. We recently purchased a new oven and oven liner to keep it clean. I woke up the morning after the first night we used it to find both of my parrotlets dead in the bottom of their cage. After doing some research, I realized that this product is coated with Teflon, and when the oven is heated to 400 F or above, releases a gas that is deadly to birds.

Great liner: Customer Beware Hidden Element Oven

I purchased my oven liner several years ago and have loved using it. The littlest of spills, after cooling were wiped up easily.
Here is the problem: If you have purchased a hidden element oven. DO NOT USE THIS. I recently purchased a new stove, the delivery people said of course you can use this. Well you guessed it, the liner melted onto the bottom of the stove. My stove is only 2 weeks old.
Since I had thrown away the box I did not realize till this morning the warning that was on the box.
So you don't make the same mistake, please keep in mind perfect for oven's with elements you can see. Otherwise I loved having this product.

This oven mat said on the box to put on a bottom rack not on the oven floor. I can't get an answer from customer service at Chef's as to if it will hinder the heating and cooking of the food.

I love to bake pies; which often make messes in the bottom of the oven. I bought this with hopes of not having a smoke filled house after every pie, and it worked great! I was really happy with how easily all that crusty black pie juice just came right off without any scrubbing.

I bought it because my friend has it and it works great in a electric oven, I have a gas and it with one use has been distorted, a white film is on it and it looks like it got thin, I followed the instructions not to block the holes, so I don't know what happen to it.

This liner catches all baking drips. They wipe right off with a damp sponge. No more cleaning cooked-on food drips off the bottom of my oven.

My oven is new and SO pretty - that is until my husband decided to use it. He has a knack for spilling and manages to burn bakeware beyond salvaging. Luckily, I'd put this liner in the day before. Most of the mess peeled right off, the rest scrubbed off with a teflon sponge. This saved my oven! Not to mention my husband's ears.
