I bought my soda stream about a month ago. I was worried about the flavors and not liking them. Not only does my family (husband and four kids) like most of them we have also picked up a trick for new flavors. We had purchased a MIO for my husband to use for his water at work and he tried using it instead of the syrup. It worked. Now not only do we use the syrups from soda stream but have expanded our flavor variety by using the MIOs in the water after carbonating. The kids get "soda" without all the sugar!!!!

Bought my Pure a couple of weeks ago as a Mother's Day gift, but couldn't stand it just hiding in my closet so I gave it to my wife early. It works great and is easy to use. My wife just loves the Cola zero flavor since she's is (was) a coke zero drinker. However, I did fail to do the proper research on the flavors and didn't realize until later that the regular flavors are reduced calorie drinks because they use a mixture of sugar and Splenda. Me and Splenda don't get a long and I don't drink diet drinks so I am only drinking the sparkling natural flavors, which are tremendous. I just wish they made some regular calorie drink flavors without using Splenda.

I bought this for me and my husband for Christmas because we were just buying 2-3 bottles of Ginger Ale everyday and because I was sick it was not convenient for me to go out everyday and because I was sick of seeing all that cash blowing out the window when my husband would go to 7-11 to buy it or to buy Red Bull, now my husband swears that the energy drink taste better than Red Bull and has Ginger Ale on hand whenever we want it,. I take my store brand Crystal Light Lemonade mix and make my own carbed lemonade and it is wonderful. I love our Soda stream and would fight with someone if they tried to take it away. The one thing I would suggest is that you buy a back up at least one CO2 cartridge so that you don't run out midstream of making your sodas before you get to the store to do an exchange on the cartridges.

I was very excited to get this sodastream. I was told that the flavors were very close to the original. Dr. Pete is no where close to Dr. Pepper. The only good flavor is mabe red bull. I thought I would just use koolaid and still save money. That was ok for a while. The CO2 ran out. It does'nt even make 1\2 of what they say it will make. A real money waster unless this is just for a hobby.

This SodaStream is fabulous! Very easy to use (check out YouTube for reviews/how-to instead of just following the directions in the manual. The first batch didn't turn out so well using the manual's directions, but once I watched a video on YouTube, the second batch was amazing.) The soda/pop tastes just as good, if not better, than what I would purchase in stores. Highly recommend!

My husband & I got this model of Soda Stream at another store almost a year ago. At first, we didn't know if it would work out for us. We are very happy that we got it. Soon after we started using it, we ordered extra bottles, spare carbonators & a couple of the syrups. At first, when we needed to exchange the carbonators, our only options were either directly with Soda Stream or a relatively small amount of retail stores. When I found out that Bed Bath & Beyond had started to carry Soda Stream products...I was thrilled!
When I first told my mother about our Soda Stream, she thought that it was another gadget that we would stop using. We're still very happy to have Soda Stream in our home!

I bought this soda maker before the summer, at first we were skeptical. We had a party at our summer lake house and we put this out and had bought several extra bottles, The kids and adults went crazy over it! Usually at parties you have 1/2 empty cups of soda left all over the place well we had none of that. My husband loves the coke zero and he likes vanilla in it so I add Vanilla Extract to it delicious!!! It is so much cheaper let alone I do not have to carry out all the cans and plastic bottles to the recycle bins. I would recommend it to everyone and actually was recently was in the store and a woman had received it for a gift and was returning it she thought it was too hard. I took a few minutes and set it up for her and I had some water in my car and we made a bottle of pete's choice and when she tasted it she looked at the clerk and said no i am definetely keeping this!!! The sales clerk could not believe that I did that but I really believe in this product. Atleast try it you have nothing to lose...Enjoy and Happy New Year!!!

We have had our Soda Stream now for about 3 weeks and I would recommend it for sure! I really wanted to increase my water intake but the idea of drinking plain water didn't appeal to me at all. I need those little bubbles! I don't care for the flavored waters because they have such a nasty diet taste to them. I love my SS to make flavored waters at home now (I use the Essence flavors - so good!!!). I am not a pop drinker but the rest of my family are and they love making their own flavors. I love that I won't throw out a bottle of pop that has gone flat. As I mom, I love that the a 12 oz. serving is only about 48 calories so my kids aren't taking in all that sugar.

I didn't think it would save us money necessarily, until my husband tried the Energy drink. He drinks those daily and they are SO expensive. Now he makes a liter every morning and it costs less than 50 cents (I shutter to think how much he was spending every morning on those Monster drinks).

It takes up very little space, super easy to use, and I find that drinking water now appeals to me!

I am a soda addict bcuz I don't care for water. I know .. shame on me but .. this Soda-Maker is the most amazing invention and not only will this save me money, give me relief on carrying sodas up stairs to the third floor .. it is healthier for me bcuz the mixes have NO aspartame! Thank you Genesis! I'm looking forward to trying more diet mixes. I have already tried the samples that came with the unit and .. some I liked a lot but some not so much. The Diet Pete's (like Dr Pepper). the caffeine-free diet cola and the energy mix are great. I highly recommend this to everyone, especially if you purchase sodas on a regular basis! BUY IT .. YOU WON'T REGRET IT!!
