Terrible product

I figured it was time to get rid of the plastic hangers from my college years, which were bulky and colorful, so I replaced all the hangers in my closet with Real Simple hangers. Boy am I sorry I did. In the 10+ years I owned my old hangers, I can't remember even 1 hanger breaking on me. In the past month with these new ones, I've lost 5 shirt hangers, 2 pants hangers, and a skirt hanger. These hangers are CHEAP. They look nice from the outside but are made with thin plastic. Hang too much on them, or accidentally bump the hanger against the closet rod or wall, and they'll snap right in half. Very disappointed- wish there was a way for me to get my $100+ back.

Who can tell me the original brand of flocked hangers Bed, Bath & Beyond used to carry about 3 years ago? They are the best never broke. I need more. The new brand Real Simple is much lesser quality & break like all the rest of there products. Can't shop hear anymore..

The concept for these hangers is wonderful, the reality sucks. These hangers are delicate and fragile. Push the hanger along the clothes bar and the base of the hook cracks releasing the hook. Cascade more than two, the base of the hook cracks releasing the hook. Drop the hanger and the base of the hook.......... well, you get the idea I was so exited to finally get my closet organized but in the end? I'm right back where I started plus out a fair amount of money. I do not recommend.

I bought similar hangers a couple of years ago to save space in my closet AND keep garments from sliding off. When I went to get more, I found they had been replaced with this Real Simple brand. I didn't buy them, but when I couldn't find anything different, I did buy a set. They take up MORE space because of the little accessory hook which I neither need nor want. But worse, they are flimsier. If you hang them on a rod and then try to move them, they bend easily - they just do not have the strength and quality of the former brand. I am disappointed in the both the quality and features.

These have revolutionized my previously messy closet which was a mess of different hangers. It's now a pleasure to walk into and to see my clothes so uniform in how they hang and to have gained so much space. I bought 250 of them - plus about 120 clips - not one broke. Wish I had invested in these years ago ...

They are slim and work well in the closet but 4 of them broke before I even got them home. If you buy hem, don't let anything sit on top of them in the car and don't hang anything too heavy on them. They are about as substantial as thick cardboard.

So far I have bought 2 sets of these. I hang all my shirts, including tank tops. Nothing falls off the hangers!! I hang them cascading down 5 tops at a time and it makes so much more room in your closet. Love these and encourage anyone to try them. Goodbye plastic hangers, hello organized and roomier closet!!

I have purchased these slim flocked hangers in the past and like them, however this order is going back. They have a built in cascading hook and support piece that is not shown in the picture and do not match previously purchased ones. It would be nice when the style changes if the description and picture were updated.
