Loved it while it worked!

I have had the Bodum Bistro burr grinder for a year. It worked great for about six months, then it stopped working on the setting for the Bodum French press.

I liked it so much that I am going to get another one today. Hopefully this experience was a fluke, though two others wrote similar reviews.

Stopped grinding "fine"

Seemed to work well initially ( a few months), alternating between fine grind for espresso and medium grind for drip coffee. Then suddenly wouldn't grind at the fine setting any more, which means it's impossible to make espresso properly. Tried adjusting while grinding, tried adjusting while empty, nothing seems to work. Very disappoiting

Just stopped working

I bought one in march of 2011 and it worked great for a month and it just stopped working. It was less than a month so I received a new one. It is 1.5 years later and this one just stopped working. I never write reviews but this really in not a well made product!

I have had my Bodum coffee grinder for a year now and I absolutely love it! It works so much better than the cheap grinders out there and it is convenient to have the different settings for espresso, drip machines, and French press. I also like the appearance of this grinder.

One of the best purchases ever

I tried another brand and found that it did not grid to my satisfaction. After much research I decided to go with this Bodum Bistro. For my needs, I feel that this little machine is both powerful, mess free and perfect for the six cups brewed twice each morning. I own a cone(unbleached paper) filter inexpensive coffee maker. I set the grind for drip. I set the time between 10-15 seconds and enjoy perfect coffee each morning. For those who like stronger coffee, I suggest you grind a little longer. So far so good. approx. 1month. My only complaint is that I wish Bodum made it easier to register the product.
