Bought this in a store on 10/28/12 & have been using it several times a day ever since. Litter box has to be in the kitchen, and now we don't have the nuisance of litter on the floor anymore. One glitch: the little trap door btwn the nozzle & the filter was jammed closed when I first used it so suction was terrible. I needed to undo the 2 tiny phillips screws to free it. (Listen up Black & Decker: Fix it or you'll lose customers!) Now the suction is great I can't live without it.

Bought this at Bed Bath & Beyond on 4/6/12. It never worked right, battery can't hold any charge and can hardly pick up lint from car floor mats. Last B&D product I will purchase - even with a 2 yr warranty (it can't clean for 5 minutes without loss of power/suction).

I received an original dustbuster in 1988. It finally wore out three weeks ago. I immediately went out and bought a new one. This one is just as good, actually better, than the one I had. The suction is great, and I like how the brush and extension are attached. If this one lasts even half as long as my old one, I'll be thrilled.

I was noticing that the poor reviews were from people who either did NOT charge this vacuum long enough (initially) or were trying to keep it on way too long. One said they had it on for 20 min. while using it on their car and it died on them! If you need to use this on your car or for a long time, then you should use one with a cord! This is, by far, the best hand vac I've ever used. Its keeps a charge long enough and is much more powerful than the Dustbuster I replaced it with. It's nice that you can keep it in a closet and not have to hang it up, where it needs to be charged while not in use. I only charge mine every now and then. Great product!

I have been through numerous hand vacuums in my time and this one is by far one of the best I have ever bought, not to mention a great price!! I have 2 very furry dogs and long black hair so this vacuum gets A LOT of use, and the suction is very powerful. I use it several times a day throughout my house and use it in my car. It charges quickly and is very easy to clean. I have had it for 2 years now and haven't had a single issue yet! LOVE IT!!

Purchase this product 2 weeks ago. The suction is great but the brush was kinda useless because when you have the brush ON it doesn't pick up the dirt very well. Not so good to use in the car either. This only GOOD when you have light dirt to pick up. Overall, it does what is supposed to for the price you paying for.

I was really disappointed in this that i had to write a review. (something I NEVER do, whether its good or bad). But this was just unacceptable. I charged the vacuum right when i got home for about 3hrs +, when I tried to test it and vacuum my floors... it died on me in less than 5 minutes! literally less than 5 mins! I thought perhaps I didn't charge it enough so I let it charge for another 2 hrs and tried again and...SAME THING. WOW. And it IS HEAVY. Its 2011, we have great technology with everything becoming lighter, flatter, more portable. BUT THE WEIGHT OF THIS VACUUM IS TOO HEAVY FOR THIS DAY AND AGE. I am honestly shocked at all the good reviews... I don't think my standards are that high... i wouldn't even pay $5 for this useless machine! It is going back to the store.

I read many reviews and looked at 10+ hand vacs. I decided on this one as it was available in store and i had a coupon. I couldn't be happier. It holds a charge longer than others it seems, easy to empty and long nozzle so i dont have to bend too far under table. And it has strong suction. Way better than having to get out larger house vac.

Most handheld, cordless vacuums tend to disappoint me after a short period. This one is absolutely fantastic hands down! It has strong suction, a battery charge that lasts, it's super easy to clean & dump waste, a flip tool connected to end so you don't have to worry about small attachments. I have a pet and purchased this primarily for use in my car to vacuum up dog hair. Battery went low after 20 mins and suction was poor. The brush on the nozzle proved useless. The unit itself is oddly constructed and does not fit easily under or in the side of the seats. I would not recommend to buy it. The vacuum is going back to the store for a refund.
