Couldn't be happier

A couple weeks after I bought my new mattress – which, yes, was incredibly cheap – I began to realize there wasn't nearly enough cushion between me and the springs. With this mattress pad, it's like I spent at least twice as much on the mattress itself. I've only had super basic mattress pads in the past, and now I regret not buying one of these years ago.
It stays put, is very plush, and has helped make my bed into a comfortable getaway. I wouldn't say it's like sleeping on a cloud, but it's not too far below that. Needless to say, I'm happy with my purchase and have a hard time getting out of bed in the morning.

Doesn't wash well

I should have read the reviews of the previous two reviewers before buying this. I washed it before using it and the back just developed tons of holes in my x-large front washing machine. The material is like paper, not meant to hold up. I'm taking it back and looking for something that is cotton on both sides.

So disappointing

The first time I washed this, about three months after purchase, filling shifted and the flimsy fabric on the side that goes against the mattress seemed to almost disintegrate in areas. I followed the manufacturer's instructions for laundering with cold water and warm drying temperature very carefully so I don't have a clue what went wrong. It doesn't look like it would survive another washing so I will have to throw it away and replace it the next time it needs to be washed. That's $80 + tax down the drain.

Best I could find for college dorm

I could only give this mattress pad 4 stars because of the disappointment I received when I got home and measured it. It is supposed to be a Twin XL. That means fitting a mattress 39 by 80 inches long. The pad only measures 37 by 79 inches before being washed. However Bed Bath and Beyond did have a selection of Twin XL mattress pads that one could look at in person so I am happy for that. I am very happy with the all cotton top. I wish the back of the pad could have been cotton like the top, instead of the paper-like polyester that will tear so easily. Another improvement would be to make it in the USA. The Staff at Bed Bath and Beyond are always helpful. I do appreciate that.

Best Mattress Pad I've Ever Owned!!!

Without any hesitation whatsoever, this is best mattress pad I have ever owned. It fits beautifully, with a stretchy sidewall that goes a good distance under the mattress, and therefore, it doesn't slip and slide around. It has a wonderfully cushioning loft, making it tremendously comfortable. Because of it's loft and overall size, it does need to be washed in a commercial washer and dryer, but I don't consider this to be a drawback. Just buy it!

Great Mattress Pad for deep mattresses!

I have rejuvated my mattress carefully because I have had multiple back surgeries/arthritis. This helps me to sleep cooler & comfortably! A cotton top w/ 15 oz of fiberfilll. It is very comfortable with my mattress 3" topper! The sides of this pad stretches over my mattress & topper easily! Other pads have sides that feels like a strong paper fabric with multi -threaded rows & are more $. This one doesn't feel like paper on the sides & I haven't had any trouble with slipping. I am very satisfied! It repels stains, not waterproof. It is not a topper, it is a good mattress pad. Great Purchase.

Like Sleeping On A Cloud

This has got to be the most comfortable mattress pad I have ever slept on. I'm sleeping a lot more soundly. In the past I could not lay on my back for an extended period, but that is not the case after purchasing this mattress pad.
Since this is a thicker mattress pad than most I recommend washing and drying in a large capacity washer and dryer. To be honest, I could not get it to fit in my washer, so I will be forced to take it to my local cleaners to have it cleaned. But just the same, this was money well spent. I will probably buy another to keep as a spare.
