After seeing this tablecloth in the store, I purchased it and am very pleased with my decision.
It lives up to all the features listed. Fabulous ease of care.
When you press it---be careful with your temperature and up it in increments. Mine did not shrink when washed but have only washed it once---little need for washing if you just wipe it off after each using.
Purchase it using a 20% off coupon, it will be a great buy for both price and quality.

as far as keeping away the spills, it works great but every time you wash it, it will shrink.. I bought mine a few months ago, and it has shrunk incredibly. Now I use it for the kids' crafts instead for my kitchen table.. a total waste of time and money..

Made the mistake of buying 100% cotton tablecloths for my dining room table this year--after washing they needed to be professionally ironed to use again. So went searching for a lower-maintenance option and found this. The Valencia pattern conveys understated elegance with colors that match my palette just perfectly. I'm leaving my table pads and this cloth on all the time now, replacing a far more expensive table runner. Loved the look and ease of care so much that I just bought the tablecloth in the next two sizes up for when I put the leaves in my table for entertaining. Thank you Bed, Bath and Beyond!

I have 4 different patterns of this tablecloth. They are the best tablecloths i have ever owned. Spills wipe right up. Looks nice too. I would reccomend to anyone especially if you have small children

I regularly purchase inexpensive vinyl tablecloths to place underneath my expensive cloth ones. I like beautiful tablecloths, but I have children who spill things.

This is not the same as the cheap vinyl ones lined with flannel. You may not want to pay the money for one like this, but it is clearly better quality. It drapes like fabric, but It also resists spills and drips (which happen with several small children at the table) It's not fine linen, but I would not be embarrassed to have this on my dining room table all by itself.

Big disappointment

This may be 100% cotton but it doesn't look like it. It looks like a cheap vinyl tablecloth that could be purchased at any discount store. I bought it for our breakfast table, but would be embarrassed to use it there. I may use it outside or give it away. It is hard to find a nice tablecloth that isn't just a plain color, but this is not the answer.
