Love these!

After reading some of these reviews I felt that I needed to review this product! I LOVE these pots and pans! My husband and I put them on our wedding registry and I have had them for just under a year now. I use them just about every day! You have to handwash them and you can't use metal spoons, etc with them but if you follow the guidelines, which aren't difficult, they last! You can put them in the oven too! The outside will change colors at times but this is noted in the information packet included and it doesn't impact the quality of heating so it doesn't bother me! I would absolutely reccommend these to someone who wants great pots and pans! I'm actually about to order them for my mom since I love them so much and I know she will too!

Not suitable if you cook daily

I used this cookware for around 2 months but within 2 months the outside color came off. The color changed from Grey to aluminum color within 2 months. The pots looked like they were 10 years old. They used to heat fast and cook good but the pans started having small scratches. I agree that I used to use them daily but I made sure not to go beyond medium heat and use a wooden spatula.
A BIG THANKS to Bed Bath and Beyond for taking them back immediately when I expressed my dis satisfaction towards this product. I returned them and got an in store credit which I used to buy a new brand.

Waste of money

Lovely to look at...till cooking is attempted. Everything sticks horribly, and all of the pans and pots discolor with the first use, even with minimal heat. They also scratch easily when attempting to remove stuck-on items with stainless steel spatula. After following instructions, using low heat, I discovered cooking time had to be doubled.

I love these pots and pans.... however, I am very disappointed because twice they have had the lining start chipping. The first time I took them in and get a new set from bed bath and beyond, the same thing is happening again. I have NEVER put them in the dishwasher and I have NEVER used metal in them. Thank goodness bed bath and beyond is is wonderful, I'll be returning these again and exchanging them for a different brand

Terrible - will NEVER purchase Cuisinart again

I had the same problem as one of the people below. The pots/pans look like they are over 15 years old already, and we've had them less than a year. After 3 attempts finally got someone in the company to get back with me about the problem, only to find out that we have voided the "warranty" by using the pans on high heat. I have gone through ALL paperwork I can find for them, and nowhere does it say this. Extremely disappointed and feel screwed by a company. Will never purchase this brand again.

I have never purchased anything that I have been so disappointed in. The inside is chipping so badly that pieces end up in our food and the outside is completely scratched and looks years old, when they are only less than 6 months old. I have taken such good care of this product and still have this problem. I trried to reach Cuisinart to report this and they have never gotten back to me. I would highly recommend not buying this product.

Great Bang for the Buck

I purchased this set a month ago and have test driven all of the pieces...I love it! It looks great, cooks even greater (heats fast, cooks evenly, and holds the heat), and cleans up in a snap. I considered two other comparables (Simply Calphalon and Emerilware by All-clad) but decided on this one because of better variety offered in its 13pc set, and because of the variety in the open stock pieces. In fact, I love the set so much; I've already added-on two of the open stock pieces which I love just as much. My most favorite thing is the ability to go from the stovetop straight to the oven. My least favorite thing is that the lid handles do get a bit warm (but an easy compromise for all of the pros). This is definitely the kind of purchase I like...BIG bang for a reasonable buck.

When looking for new cookware, we wanted to move away from the Teflon coated cookware and move towards the hard anodized cookware with the newer non-stick surfaces.
Upon looking at BB&B, we saw numerous sets from all the typical names (Caphalon, Circulon, and others). The issue was to pick the set that gave us the most "bang for your buck". For us, the Cuisinart set was the one. The cost was $200 (but we had a coupon which made it all the better!) for 13 pieces that we will use unlike some others.
We have had it for 2 months so far and found it great. While it is not dishwasher safe, who cares. The clean up is so very easy. A little warm water and detergent and you are good to go. The cookware is a huge upgrade over our previous cookware. I recommend it.
PROS: most "bang for your buck"; 13 usable pieces; lids can go in dishwasher
CON: the lid handles do get hot so you need a hot mitt
