Success at Last

Just encountered my first experience with bed bugs and was in dire need of an encasement. After researching many different types, I discovered the Luxe. I purchased it, and after taking the proper bedbug removal procedures, I used it on my daughter's mattress. I was surprised how easy it was for me to put around the mattress by myself. Plus, there was plenty of room even though my daughter's mattress is a pillow top. Finally, my daughter's room is bed bug free. Success at last!

Works but very delicate

We found a few bed bugs on our mattress in the master bedroom. I went out immediately and bought this cover for our master and spare bedroom box springs.

Be very careful when putting it on the box springs and then placing the box springs back onto the bed frame. Ours ripped and I didn't notice it until I had been bitten again. We taped the snag and reinforced the seams with duct tape. We also placed duct tape along the bed frame and padded the sharp corners so that when the box springs rubbed against the bed frame we didn't get any more tears.

I would have given this more stars had it not been for the rip. I wish it were more sturdy. The ones I bought for the mattress and pillows have worked really well.

Just in Time for Summer

Bed bugs in Manhattan can be pretty bad in the summertime, but I definitely wasn't going to fall victim this year. I have been using the new box spring cover for a couple weeks now. No bed bugs at all, though I heard someone in my apartment complex talking about a friend of his in Manhattan getting bit! They're here in New York, but they aren't getting to me or my bed thanks to Allergy Luxe! This thing is great!
