A waste of money

This machine lasted only long enough to choke down the coffee pods I bought. And then I couldn't return it fast enough. Noisy, noisy, noisy with an odd sound of child size trains stopping at the old time kiddie parks. The coffee was HORRIBLE. A significant step down from the Vue, and miles behind the Tassimo, this machine is one to avoid.

Great individual coffee maker

We've had this model in our office now for several months, it gets a fair amount of use, and works perfectly every time. So glad we decided to go ahead with this purchase, it has been a welcome addition, especially on cold winter days, with our clients. Nice, brewed coffee flavor or choose hot chocolate if you prefer (that's great, too!). Had my doubts, but not anymore.

I have had a different model for years and loved it. I finally needed to replace it and bought this one. Within 2 months, it had problems and BB&B kindly swapped it out. Shortly after, the same problem with 3 blinking lights occurred again and Keurig replaced it and said there was a bad batch of units. Guess what - the same problem is happening again. After a few emails and speaking with customer service, Keurig will have to research and call me back. Bottom line, I like the older models of Keurig - but now am ready to move on to the new competitors. My neighbor suggested the new Starbucks unit. I suggest buying a different model or try the competition.

I got this Kerrigan for my anniversary. When making a cup of coffee The water trickled out. It Takes a minute or two for the cup to fill up with coffee. My sister said she had one at work and her machine did not do that, and that there was something wrong with this one so I returned it. Everybody was saying how great this machine was so I Exchanged it for the exact same one. I had it for two weeks , And the machine broke, it would not take water from the water tank . The motor inside just kept running!!! I'm going to return this one but I'm going to upgrade to the most expensive one and see how that works.

Great Coffee Maker

I purchased this Keurig just after Christmas. I drink black coffee and am very fussy about flavor, so I was hesitant. I've been drinking Melitta for years now and I do drink a lot of coffee a day (3-4 mugs). After trying the variety packs, I ended up with Dunkin Donuts and Starbucks Veranda Blonde Roast. I do go through 3-4 k-cups a morning to get two full mugs of coffee. So it's certainly not saving me any money. But the convenience is wonderful and keeps me staying with it! After my last cup of coffee, I run 1-2 mugs of just water through the machine until the water runs clear; which I believe helps keep it clean.

Best Coffee for the money

Background: I have been a coffee drinker since Junior in High School. I am 55 now. I love black coffee.

I cannot fathom how some of these reviews could be bad. I don't know what coffee these people are drinking, or how they are treating this machine, but I think it's great coffee and we have had great luck with the machine. You have to use DISTILLED water, not purified water or spring water. Those waters still have the minerals that clog the machine. Descale it with WHITE vinegar if you have a problem...follow the DIRECTIONS. I dare anyone to try the Italian Roast and tell me that is weak coffee, and the 10 oz cup size is just fine, make another cup if you want more, it only takes a minute or so.

Broken right after warranty expired

I loved the convenience of my Keurig, but it broke 3 months after my 1 year warranty expired. After calling Keurig support 2 times and having them admit it was beyond repair, I was offered a $20 discount on buying a new machine. I am not in the market to buy a new Keurig brewer every 15 months and can see that they do not stand behind their own product. This machine had been regularly cleaned, descaled, and only had purified water run through it.

My husband and I received this as a gift for our wedding. Before getting it, we were not coffee drinkers but were excited to try it. We love it! The water reservoir is great to have so we don't have to fill the water every time. It makes a great cup of coffee in about 3-4 minutes. We now make coffee because we enjoy it and also because Keurig makes it fun!

What a disappointment!

The water doesn't get hot enough and it passes over the coffee too quickly to actually flavor the water much, and the K-cups really taste like instant coffee to me. Even fresh beans in a reusable filter don't improve the taste. It's just too weak and not hot enough to hold the heat long enough to finish drinking it.

Well what do you expect, this one is less than half the price of the other ones. Had this for five months, stopped working. Called customer service, and i felt they were doing everything to make me hang up and let the issue go. The water would not go through. Now i know i have to do the cleaning and all, but this wasn't the problem. I even did the vinegar step they told me. It wouldn't work. Finally, they said that they don't service this specific model. Basically, throw it away. It was fun having this, but going back to the old days coffee making.

Keurig v. Tassimo

I have them both. The Tassimo electronics allow for more range in coffee styles (electronically reads the packet). The machine lasts 1-2 years; a superior cup of coffee. However, due to Keurig's superior marketshare, their cup prices are way more competitive: app. 40 cents/cup as opposed to 65 cents. Tassimo cups are NEVER on sale. Keurig has dozens more flavor choices while Tassimo cups are increasingly hard to find and often have production flaws. Have settled on Keurig, also good for 1-2 years, thinking their better marketing will continue to give them better sales & service.

Great Machine

I received the Keurig as a Gift. I really like this device, as
it is perfect for what it does. Works very quick and that is
what I like. Easy to maintain too. I also purchased the
K-Cup Filter for brewing my personal coffee, and it is great, no residue in my coffee, no messy leakage either.
I would strongly recommend this to all that want a product that is well worth it's cost.

I was so in love with this brewer. The coffee was easy to make, tasted great and brewed quickly. Today, just 20 days after purchase, it broke. The water would no longer run through the machine. So disappointing. I'm off to exchange it and try again. I think I win the prize for the Keurig that's lasted the shortest amount of time!

My Husband & I enjoy two cups of coffee every morning and have used this model of Keurig for the past 3 years and it's still going strong. No it doesn't have a lot of options but we figure it's that much less to go wrong. How many cup sizes do you need? Plus, you need to use the Kuerig pods or the Kuerig filter in order for this machine to work...DUH. If you use the filter it is best to use course ground coffee. Our machine is getting a bit noisy as time passes so we plan to replace it this Christmas with another one just like it.

I bought this model just 5 days ago. I was really excited as I waited a while to get one. I also bought the K-cup to use my own coffee. If you make it with the prepackaged cups, coffee is good, but you do not get a good size cup. It is very small. Two - 3 sips! (We will not purchase the individual prepackages due to the waste on the environment - we tried the ones that were given to you with the machine.) If you make it with the K-cup, the coffee is really weak. My husband and I drink at least 2 cups a day each. We have been standing in front of that machine for the past few days trying to make a good cup of coffee. It is going back today. We will be purchasing a regular coffee maker that will make us a full, strong pot of coffee that we can put into a nice size mug, not a demi cup!

Have had this coffee brewer a couple of months now. Have nothing but good things to say about it. I get the coffee online at Keurig when it is 20% off. I had company and they wanted coffee and it was nice not to have to make a pot clean pot,etc. I have recommended this item to several people. Don't think you will be disappointed in this purchase.
