I'm kicking myself for not reading the reviews first. I didn't think I needed to get reviews on pant hangers and I had just had an organizational expert come to my apartment, so I wanted to hurry up and buy them so I could get organized quickly. I'm going to return these this evening because they snapped like twigs! The arm DOES NOT swing out easily at all and because the fabric is made of felt, it isn't easy to slide pants on and off! Once I told my organizer about the purchase she suggested a different kind - it has a metal frame with rubber arms. What a waste of my time and money!

I was so excited to try these new hangers to save some room on my closet. As soon as I took them out of the paper and try to hang the first pant, the hanger broke, same thing with the rest of it...TERRIBLE QUALITY!!!

This product is advertised as "swing arm" but due to poor quality control, the arms stick and easily snap. All around the plastic is weak and brittle and can only hold very lightweight pants. I recommend buying a metal version.

I purchased 3 types of these Real Simple hangers. The Swing Arm Pant Hangers were a good idea, but were broken in the bag. Returned them, as well as the regular hangers (also broken before using.) Two trips to BB&B. Waste of time. Appreciate how easy returns are though.

I bought these hoping to save some room in my closet. I take them out of the bag, remove the cardboard, and one of the arms snaps off. I didn't even get my clothes on it and it's already broken.

Needless to say, this is going back. Not sure if I will exchange or return yet. I am definitely disappointed though.

I bought a set of these to hopefully clear up some space in my closet by using fewer hangers for pants.

First set - when trying to hang the second pair of pants, the arm snapped off when i tried to swing it out. Irritating, but it happens. Went back to BB&B store to exchange them

Second set - accidentally bumped the hanger off of the door while trying to hang pants on them. This time TWO arms snapped right off. No hope of repairing them.

It's not BB&B's fault, so I don't feel the need to force them to replace these as well, but I can't discourage purchasing them enough.

These hangers work well for lighter pants, such as dress slacks. I have all my slacks and dress capris on my set of 2 and they have helped to save a lot of space in my closet. They are relatively sturdy, but you can't put heavy pants on them. This is due to the pant arm's construction, and heavier pants make it a bit too bulky to use.

I like the regular hangers very much but these are terrible. They break very easily. I just bought these and 4 "arms" have broken off already. I would recommend using the skirt hangers or using the regular hangers with the hooks.

I just bought these and absolutely love them! I use them for my spaghetti strapped tank tops as well and they take up so much less room! Be careful when opening them though and open from the hinged part, not the end that snaps in, I broke an arm doing that.
