Great Idea

Took out of box and put together and my 4 month Dorkie woke up from her nap and used it. Couldn't believe it! She loves it. Keep it in the master bathroom and she got used to it right away, first with treats and lots of praise. After several months, no treats needed at all, but I praise her everytime. It's really a livesaver when the weather is cold, rainy or the sprinklers are on, and late at night.
Clean up: You have to keep up with cleaning. I have purchased 2 and while grass is air drying, I put down the grass from the 2nd patch. I have noticed that it will smell if it's in a sunny spot. I first wanted it on the balcony, but reconsidered because of the heat of the sun and smell. Where I have it, is very convenient with her using it and clean up. The shower is right there, I put all pieces in with some spray cleaner and keep rinsing, then let air dry. I have soaked the parts in bleach in the tub, also.
I highly recommend this product.

I just got an Italian Greyhound and they DO NOT like the cold. Wouldn't go outside when it was cold so I bought the potty patch. Within one day he was trained and now goes without telling him. He would rather go outside when it's nice but goes to the Potty Patch first when it's cold. No more messes to clean up. Best dog item I've bought.

I bought the 3 potty patches for my scottie so he had room to do his business- i never have to rush home- he always can relieve himself. PS.. if your dog wont use it- buy something at petsmart or petco by natures miracle called GO HERE beware- only spray 2 sprays- it will work- but it stinks for a few days- then they will figure it out!!

I bought this for my Welsh Pembroke Corgi. I went from having a huge yard to moving to the beach with just a patio deck. He is about 25 pounds. I tried the small one first....but he didn't respond to it. Got the larger one and he adjusted immediately. I have a hose hook up and am on street level so can just spray it and drain it. Number 2, I just pick up in a bag like on regular grass. If he needs to go potty he knows to go to the sliding door at patio. WHAT A RELIEF not to have to go on a walk every time he needs to go with my work hours being different every week.

I just purchased the potty patch for my Chorkie,and I invested in the large size.The purpose is she will walk around till she finds her spot to potty so with that in mind I paid $80 so she would have a larger space.It took all of 1`day with persistence same way with potty pads she adjusted.I love this product, and will recommend it to anyone,but do remember we as owners have to do our part, and be persistant we have to teach our pets,and they will adjust if it takes a while,but it is worth trying you'll be glad you did.No more clean up from potty pads !!!

I absolutely love the potty patch! I wouldn't put it in my house but it is so great for my balcony as I live in an apartment! It's small enough for any size balcony! I do find it a little on the small side and my dog is 14 pounds! I was also worried if she would use it because she's quite picky about were she pees, but she got used to it immediately. Such a great product!

Great Concept... But

The puppy I got for Christmas was trained to use this before she came home with us. It was highly recommended by the breeder. However, I've noticed since she is a toy breed weighing under 2 lbs. that the fluid doesn't make it all the way through the grass to the paper. Instead it kind of sits in the grass and gets in her fur anytime she gets on it. There is always a sticky film on my tile because of this. She uses it with ease, but it is not as clean as I would have hoped. I end up mopping and disinfecting the area she is in several times a day. It beats having to go outside every couple of hours at night but not sure I'd buy another one.
