I am very disappointed in the quilted pet throw for the sofa. It will not stay put on the sofa, the backing is slipery and as soon as you or your pet sit down the thing slides off. After paying 50.00 (no small amount for me) I now have to spend more money to buy something to make it stay in place.

This throw is a disaster! It constantly needs adjusting to stay on the sofa and the washing instructions are not correct. I washed it as instructed and the backing melted on the low, delicate cycle of the dryer. It is now unusable. Am hoping to be able to return it.

For an accurate review on this product it would help if comments were specific, e.g., type/size of sofa, size of animals, etc. Therefore, I offer the following: Fits well on my sofa that is a, queen-sized sofa bed, very straight lines, not high back, covered in a brushed velour material, and is sat upon by two cats, one 10 lbs. and the other 7 lbs. This cover fits my sofa with ample material to drape over the back and sides, clings well to the sofa material, withstands the weight of the cats without constantly straightening out the fabric, and washes well but some hairs are caught in the back (fiber fill) material. I bought this throw so I could quickly remove and replace it when I had company as the color doesn't really match the sofa material. It's easier to put on than a king-sized sheet and provides better protection. The material and construction are not of a high quality. If you know someone who sews it would be easy to replicate. If not, it's worth it for me as the throw accomplishes my objectives.

The cover will not stay on the couch arms but I decided I could live with that. However, when I washed it, using the manufacturers instructions, the padding on the back is coming off after the first washing. Am returing it today. It is a good concept but has too many problems. I'll go back to using a blanket.

I have tried numerous slipcovers and all needed to be straighten after the dogs, kids, or adults got on and off the couch. I have to straighten my furniture friend out quite often as well, but overall, I think it stays put better and looks better than a slip cover. It's amazing how filthy this things get in a week - I'm SO glad it's not happening to my couch! I'm happy enough with it to be purchasing another for my love seat. I would recommend it to anyone with a dog or cat, or messy people in the house!

It looks nice, or would if it would stay put. I was suprised by how short the back and arms of this cover are. For $40, you would expect ample coverage, but the back and arms are extremely short. My Mother-in-law kindly sewed extra material onto the back and arms, which help keep it up, but I don't think you should have to adjust or "fix" something you paid $40 for. Also, it is advertised, as non slip, which just isn't true, as I constantly have to rearrange it.

I was leery of buying this because of the bad reviews, but we have expensive leather couches and a new kitty. He wasn't scratching them on purpose - only play - also have a 90 lb lab. I was covering them with sheets which were so ugly and messy looking. I got the chocolate which matches the brown leather. If you aren't expecting a miracle they work great - of course, they are going to slip around because they are not meant to look like a real sofa, but for what I wanted it for, I would definately recommend it.

I had read the mixed reviews on this, but decided to chance it because I thought it looked like a great cover! I bought one to try on my loveseat, and only kept it two days. Every time someone sat on it, it crumpled up and kept moving around. I finally took it off, put it back in the package and returned it. Makes me sad, because it would have looked great and kept my loveseat clean!

I was skeptical when I saw these, but purchased the chair and the sofa covers anyway. I have to say, they fit better than I expected. I have two 80 lb. labs and I have had no problem with them falling down in the back. In fact, they both extend quite a bit down the back of the furniture so it would not be possible for them to fall down. My furniture cushions are not small, they are overstuffed. I am quite happy with my purchase.

Good product with some doctoring

I agree with the review that says the back falls down. So what I did, was sew a fabric tube, leaving an edge lengthwise that could be pinned. Filled with sand (small bag can be found where house plant supplies are sold), and sewn shut. I safety pin the tube in several spots along the cover, and voila! Worked like a charm. Weights the top nicely, and removable when needing to wash.

Let me start off by saying I have 4 dogs. Three are 35 lbs and one is 70 lbs. I bought this to help with the hair on the couch. Well I am constantly fixing it on the couch. Cover is alway falling down from the back of couch. I am at the point where I want to "nail" cover on the couch because I'm sick of fixing it on couch. I would bring back but I have washed it twice and it has dog hair on it that won't come off with just washing it. Next time I will buy a slipcover that covers entire couch.
