It's great, at first...

These things are great at first. So soft and plushy. But don't be tempted to buy. As all the other negative reviews say these things are extremely slippery, never dry, and are impossible to clean. These issues make this product completely impractical for the bathroom. Instead of that soft plushy feeling you're hoping for, you'll get a cold, wet, squishy feeling on your feet every morning. Between that, it being ruined in the wash, or, worst of all, taking a bad slip and fall, sooner than later you'll throw yours out. No bath mat is worth this much money and drama.

Poor Quality

Do not buy these bath mats! They are poorly made. The memory foam absorbs and retains water causing the mats to always be wet and mildew. They are supposed to be machine washable, but the pieces of memory foam fall apart inside the mat after washing. The only member of my household who enjoyed using these mats was my cat who would urinate on them....

Love This Over "Conventional" Rugs

Husband, Mom, 2 teenage boys, a cat + 2 dogs are in & out of the bathroom where I have 3 rugs: Contour, 17x24, and the runner. All in Linen color. I don't have an issue with color fading or with everything showing on the rugs as previous reviewers have mentioned. All 3 rugs wash up beautifully and I let them air dry out back. I do not have an HE washer, so I wash the runner by itself and the other 2 rugs with a few towels. I do not run into issues with having to "air dry" the mats between showers - the 3 guys using this shower every weekday morning. I'm getting ready to purchase additional rugs for a 2nd bathroom, in either Ivory or Blue (haven't quite made up my mind here, and may go as dark as Charcoal).

Microdry Bath Mat Definitely the best choice ever

This Microdry bath mat it has been fantastic for us. For sure the best bath mat I've ever bought. It's a great comfort everyday when stepping out of the shower, even family and friends comments on it.
You definitely need to follow the cleaning instructions and be sure not to dry it on high heat or you can just hung it to dry.
I bought the larger size for right outside the shower and it is perfect. You won't regret spending the money. Absorbs water very quickly, it is like standing on a pillow that absorbs the water immediately. So luxurious!! and is soooooo deliciously soft.
Another plus is that it doesn't slide on the floor and is very durable.
I have 2 in the bathroom I use in rotation as we are 4 people having showers every day. We also hung it over the bath after the showers, believe me it will dry in no time.
This is definitely worth the money, it looks great in the bathroom but its functionality is beyond all others and great design too.
It has been quite a challenge to find the perfect bath mat. I love the sense of luxury that brings into my home
Best bath mat I've ever had - Highly recommend this!

Super soft but the rug never dries. I have almost broken my neck so many times from slipping on this rug. We went out of town for a whole week and it still did not dry completely

I thought these thinking they would be soft and absorbent , but they get wet and stay really wet. Yes soft but cold wet bath rugs are horrible.

dark colors fade quickly

It is comfortable to stand on and dries much quicker than other bathroom rugs I've had before (if I hang it loosely over the tub edge that is, so air circulates behind it). My complaint is how quickly the color faded. Washed it maybe 3 times before the color was very noticeably faded. We bought the darkest brown (probably the "chocolate" color). Also this mat picks up all sorts of light colored lint and such, so it never look clean. If you pick a lighter color, I doubt the fading wouldn't be much of an issue... but it will still pick up everything.

Like it a lot so far

Got the bath runner a few days ago, and so far we love it. I read many of the reviews and was a little hesitant because of the "slippage" comments; however, we've not had any issue. Water does not reach our bathroom floor from our shower, so the floor is never wet (unless I'm mopping it, of course). The "grip" is quite adequate - I can't make it slip when attempting to with a hand or foot.
I will take heed to several folks' washing/drying hints, and wash it in warm water then air dry. The fact is that ANY non-slip bath rug/mat WILL eventually crack and deteriorate when regularly dried by an appliance. I think this will turn out to be a very good purchase over the long haul.

Pretty good

I purchased this mat over a year ago (light blue) - it washes well in warm water (washing machine) and I hang it to dry. Unfortunately, during the winter I put it in the dryer and that was beginning of the end. The backing began to crack and I trashed it this week. The rug itself is soft, comfy, absorbent, and when hanging over tub after baths & showers - dries within 5-6 hours after (3-kids sopping wet) use it successively. I'll buy another one this week.

bad reviews? s/b good reviews

I've had my rug for a year as well - just too blinking lazy to put up a review.
I took a look at a lot of the low reviews and am highlhy surprised.
I wash my rug (and I'm a guy) and even dried it once but decided not to dry it in a machine b/c it might make the backing crack. I hang my rug to air dry and it does dry within 36 hours (you have to dry it in a non-humid environment).
--- I've washed this rug many times and it is still like brand new (or maybe I take care of mine better than some here?).
And about all the skidding - the trick is to not get the rug backing wet. I tend to mostly dry off in the shower/tub and then step onto the rug. When my wife or I do step directly from the shower to the rug dripping wet, we don't get the bottom soaking wet. And we don't have skidding/falling problems as so many do.
And as for the rug remaining soggy for hours? I've not experience that - it pretty much drys up within hours. Again, the trick it not keep the enviornment so humid.
So, sorry for all the disappointed folks out there. If you follow all the above, you won't have any problem. I wish there was a reply to comments button - I could respond directly to folks here.

While I find these mats ultra comfortable, they are difficult to keep clean. Washing in a regular washing machine with Tide does not get them clean and they take a very long time to get dry. I have the cream and light blue colors.

These mats are for bathrooms, yet they are dangerous if they get wet. Choose another mat that is not dangerous as these are. I am going to return them.

Love the feel of this mat on my feet...my whole family does. But I don't use it as a bath mat anymore, it's in front of the sink to stand on. I stepped out of the shower today and the mat just shot out from under me. It's happened to my husband and my son, as well. We were all very lucky not to fall and get hurt. Until they change the backing to something less slick, it won't be used as a bath mat in our home. And I won't be buying any more of them, as we really don't NEED a $20 mat to stand on while we brush our teeth!

Feels great on your feet and absorbs water! Only issue we had is we couldn't get the "feel me" sticker off one of the bath mats without leaving a ton of sticky goo.

I have used these mats for over a year and while I am satisfied with them in terms of durability and ease of care, I caution that they are, as other reviewers have noted, extremely slippery, particularly if the floor beneath them gets damp. If they are outside a shower door or a splashy tub, they are simply unsafe. Be very careful.

This product should be recalled and is a rip off. The quality is very poor: it stained my new bathroom floor and toilet. To make matters worse the cheap material fell apart after the first wash! And the tag says its machine washable - its clearly not. I returned mine and found a better quality memory foam bath mat for less money at Target. Bed, Bath and Beyond usually sells better products but this one is just wrong.

We have been using these mats in both of our bathrooms for over a year now. They have been used, washed, (air dryed), and still look great and perform well. They are still just as "cushy" when you step on them as they day we got them. When they look grungy, toss them in the wash, air dry them, and they are as good as new!

Worst rug ever

This rug is definitely super absorbant. So much that it takes several days of hanging to completely dry. On top of that it is definitely not skid proof. Yesterday, I stepped on it and the rug and my foot hydroplaned across the floor. I landed hard on the tile floor on my butt and right palm. I am still hurting today and will be for another day or so. Had I been an elderly person, I would have definitely shattered my hip. My kids could have stepped on this, fallen and hit their heads on the tub. It is not a safe rug!

Going Right Back to Store

I foolishly did not read the reviews until after my purchase of this bathmat. I bought it for my husband, who has a broken leg, thinking this would absorb any excess water he got on the floor upon getting out of the tub with one leg hanging over the edge. The whole idea was that he NOT slip. Upon reading customer after customer warning about the slipping, this mat is going right back, unused. Many thanks to all who took the time to warn the rest of us. What are you thinking BB&B by selling such a dangerous product? With this many people reporting how unsafe it is? I shudder to think that I almost bought one for my elderly mother.. The ridiculously glowing reviews seem like fakes to me, as well. :-/
