Didn't have this model in the store. Ordered it and when it arrived yesterday, took it out of the box. Started to assemble the unit, and found the cord holder was defective. Completed the assembly and started to clean a large room, I liked it at first, was quite and suction was better than our last 10 year old Hoover. Then went to the next room, it started making a whining noise and the suction wasn't as good as the first room on the same type of carpet. Five minutes into this room the lamp burnt out, and then went to bare floors, set the level to floors and it stopped picking up anything. All this happened within 25 minutes. It is now back in the box ready to take back to the store. I did call Bissell and they said that they would replace the parts and then tried to sell me additional filters. Be careful, what looks good and good information about a product, doesn't mean that it is good. We use other Bissell products in the past with no problems, just got the two in one pet steamer and works very well. Save yourself trouble Do not buy this cheaply made Health Home Vac II.

This was one of those times that I wish I hadn't tossed the reciept. I was excited about the product and all I got was headache. The clogging, the brush not working and the faulty on/off switich. Man, I hate this vaccuum.

this vacum cleaner is extremely heavy to push and the brush on/off button no longer works- which makes it useless. It has no suction w/out it and is too heavy to push. I did love the long hose for vacuming stairs.

I did a lot of research on vacuums before purchasing this one and thought I found a winner. I had a Hoover before and was happy with it until we completely destroyed it and I wanted my new vacuum to be bagless, which this one is. We have a 9x12 area rug that takes at least 30 minutes to clean with this vacuum because the suction is weak. On the "bare floors" setting, the vacuum is unable to pick up ANYTHING off our hardwood floors, which doesn't make any sense. The only redeeming quality of this vacuum are the tools/accessories. It has a "power brush" that works amazingly on furniture. Overall, I don't think this vacuum is worth the full price just for one good accessory.
