Oh what a surprise!

After 7 months of online searching as well as in store shopping, I could not find the perfect bedding set to complete my new bedroom furniture.While on vacation I stopped by BB&B in hopes of finding"the"set,but had the mindset of searcing for many more months, taking the attitude that after searching for months..what I hoped to use with my new bedroom furniture, I entered with the mindset that I'd not find "the" right set? I was astonished at the amount of beautiful bedding samples. Much to my surprise I found multiple choices to that would be perfect for a room with fresh paint & new furniture. Oh, what a surprise. We live on the coast & need a subtle nauticla or bay side set. WOW ! BB&B blew me away.So many choices & the quality of the pieces as were etremely well made. Not only did I find a set with the exact colors but also a motiff not too"coastal".The real problem came when I found 3 set that I could use & work finely with my decore. I decided on this soft yellow set as so striking against the moderately dark head & foot board. It is truely a divine set.The soft yellow is beautiful against the almost dark head board & matching pieces, The greens of coverlet & same stripes of 2 green colors on Euro sham/dust ruffle match the my soft greens walls perfectily & bring deminsion to the look. The thinly quilted coverlet"(lightly quilted) "seals" my husband keeps uf warm in cold weather & at the same time, it's light weight enough that we are no hot on summer nights. After arriving home I called the store in which I purchse the bedding & actually purchased a matching green Matelasse to fold & drape over the bottom of the bed that seems to be in style at this time.. Giving that, we may use the coverlet as extra warming affect when cold or use it as a cover in our hot summers..(folding down the Fiji yellow spread at the end of bed,thus saving wear)This set is perfect for any region asthe nautical motiff is not that so obvious. I will never purchase bedding from any other store as BB&B store staff went above&beyond (something not found today) patiently assisted in locating ALL matching items) throws, accent pillows, drapes, sheers & multiple pillow shames needed, in a most friendly & patient manner) AND SHIPPING IS FREE! This lovely set immediately takes me to a oasis of tranguility upon entering my bedroom. KUDOS BB&B.

I purchased the full/queen quilt for our guest room. It's perfect! I love the bright colors including the stripped bedskirt. I love how it brightened the room and lays on the bed. Great quality as well. I am very happy with this purchase. Our guests love it!

I have admired this set since our BB&B opened a few years ago. I finally bought it yesterday! I bought the king quilt to use as a bedspread on a Q-sized bed, eliminating the need for bedskirt. It works just perfectly. It is prettier on my bed than I thought possible and it brightens up the room. I also bought the shams, and the small square striped pillows. I wasn't sure about the patten with the quilt but they work great. I love, love, love this quilt!!! I will go back later to get the European shams but first must get that sized pillows.

I also bought this product a while ago when it was bon-air. At that time they had a sage and off-white striped dust ruffle that goes with the set beautifully. I bought the coverlet to fold and place at the bottom of my bed over a very nice white comforter, along with the pillow shams. I also have the valances over white sheers. At that time I bought it to brighten up a dark bedroom in a temporary rental. I have used it in several other types of bedrooms since and it always cheers me up.

Fiji is Bon Aire

I love this pattern and bought my first piece when it was a Claiborne line called Bon Aire. I like it so much that my master suite is decorated around it; I bought the shower curtain when the Liz pieces were still available and use lilac, sage, salmon and tangerine bathsheets to match. My sheets and pillowcases also match the quilt and I even bought an extra twin quilt to use to cover the wooden window valances I am having built. I'll hang pale violet sheers under the valances. This is a really pretty, sturdy product. I hope BBB keeps making Fiji for a long time; it is tropical without being obvious and full of colors to use in matching the rest of your decor. It washes and dries really well, holding its shape.

When I purchased this coverlet & shams, I was afraid it would be in the colors of the ad. In order to see the vibrant colors, you need to click on "Seen in the room" for the true colors. I too was not a fan of the peachy bed skirt, but although there are many colors to chose from, bedskirts are difficult to match up.
Overall I am very happy with it.

Love this coverlet but do not care for the pink/green shams and bedskirt. Does anyone have a suggestion for an option? I tried sage greens but could not find shams and bed skirt that matched in color. Great Florida bedroom with cream colored furniture!
