I Wish I Had Known...

I wish I had known what many other buyers obviously already knew-the suction cups WILL NOT adhere to my stainless steel sink. My previous home had a Kohler cast iron/ceramic kitchen sink and I had a clear plastic caddy w/ suction cups which worked great. I redid the kitchen in my new home w/ a stainless sink and the stainless caddy seemed a better design choice. I thought it was the weight of the caddy causing the problem but I think it's the stainless steel. Also the metal joints of the caddy have rusted even though the tag read "rust proof". Two great reasons NOT to purchase. However, I was not aware BBB would stand behind a product...I purchased it in a store, so we'll see.

I totally agree with the majority that the suction cups do not work. It's a nice looking piece but totally useless. Would not recommend.

Great idea if you can get it to stick

I actually purchased something identical at a discount big box store. I couldn't get it to stick so when I saw BB&B had one I purchased a second thinking the suction cups might be better. Honestly I think I bought the exact same thing for a few dollars more. I can't get it to stay put. I made sure the sink was clean, I moisten the cups, made sure the sink was dry...i did a number of things. As soon as I put it on the sink it falls off shortly afterward. Sometimes one suction cup with hold and other does not. I am keeping it because it is a great idea. I just wish it would stick. I have a stainless steel sink. Not sure if that matters.

Simple little item but works well inside of my sink. It sticks well and does not dislodge unless I take it off.

One of my best "organizing" purchases

I love having the dish sponge accessible in the sink but hidden from view. MY MOTHER was very impressed and would like me to get her one.
I drape the counter cloth on top of the sponge, but considering buying another one of these to stuff it into.

I was skeptical

I was wondering, because of the reviews on the suction cups, how this would work. I have not had a single problem with this, I do wish it was bigger though - then it would be perfect!

I have not had any problems with it sticking. Just make sure your sink is clean before you stick it on. I love the fact that my sponge air dries and is always there when I need it.

I completely agree with everyones review about the suction cups not holding...but after a little frustration and some patience they finally hold! It just takes a little bit of time for it to stick on for good but now that it has it doesn't slide or fall off at all and I couldn't be happier with it. Looks great in a stainless steel sink.

I was afraid at first because the suction cups didn't hold. After cleaning the sink and the cups, this sticks to my stainless steel sink and looks GREAT! There haven't been any problems with it and it is a very useful addition to our kitchen.

Suction Cups Do Not Function

purchased 2 units a year ago. they look great but the suction cups Do Not Function well At All. One unit is holding up ok. the other unit - 8 to 10 times a day it falls down & i have to wet it and try to stick it up again against the formica wall behind the sink. it falls down again within one minute normally. this is with only a very very light weight scrubber sponge in it. the suction cups Do Not Work. it is a shame because aesthetically they look just right. i am completely sick of continually sticking them to the wall. the purpose of buying them was to keep the wet sponges off the back of the sink area to prevent daily possibility of mold or bacteria buildup etc. now the wet sponges lay back there with the sinkworks holder that has fallen down / so it is useless. why woudn't the sinkless company have tested their suction cups ???? it would take the most basic of tests to figure out they do not work. they should not be sold. note that when i say the other unit is holding up " ok", that means it does not fall down after only 1 or 2 minutes, instead it falls down after 1 or 2 days.
