I love high quality sheets. Unfortunately, these are not. They are not nearly as soft and smooth as other 1000tc sheets that I have purchased. I have had them less than a year, and they have a hole in them. There are MUCH better quality sheets on Overstock for a comparable price. As with any high quality sheet, the more you wash them the softer they get. I have a set that feels like rose petals. These seem to deteriorate with every wash.

I have 2 sets of these sheets that were bought years ago. The manufacturer has obviously changed something. They are not as soft or high quality. I am very disappointed and will be returning them!!! Shame on BB&B for selling these.

Not what they use to be, no longer worth the money

I bought several sets of these sheets starting as far back as 6+ years ago. They were the best, most comfortable sheets I have ever slept on. I loved them. I just ordered two new pair, and these are not the same sheets. I just received the new sheets and they are not soft at all. I cannot believe BBB has the gall to sell these sheets for $250. I am very disappointed in the manufacture and in BBB. I do not recommend these sheets at any price. I feel like I was ripped off in a bait and switch. Shame on you BBB. I only wished I had looked at the reviews before I bought these, but I thought I knew exactly what I was getting. BBB, after so many terrible reviews, how can you keep these sheets as one of your products? I expect more from you. And to make matters worse, I had these shipped to Europe where I just moved for my new job. So unless I want to spend $100 shipping them back to the U.S. I cant return them.

These were the highest thread count sheets available at BBB when I was there, so I thought I'd take the chance even though they were not Egyptian cotton. They were horribly rough! I dumped $250 on them (well, minus coupon and plus tax), and they were no better than a decent quality 600tc set, nothing like the 1000tc sheet set I had at home. I hoped that after I washed them the would be better, but they were not. Now I can't return them and feel sad and duped. DO NOT BUY!!

Not as smooth after washing

I liked them at first, but they are not as smooth and nice feeling after several washings. They are not bad, but for the money I want something that feels really good. I'm going to take them back and get somethings that feels better for a cheaper price. The heavy elastic on the bottom sheet is really nice. I might sew some elastic like that on sheets that I buy.

I have owned these sheets for about a month, they were good for about two weeks, the bottom sheet with the elastic has pilled so much as to make me want to throw them out. Horrible quality.

These sheets were great for the first year that we had them. After that and weekly washes, the bottom sheet began developing holes around the sides. Now they're all over the bottom sheet. The top sheet has a softball sized hole in it now, too. I am very disappointed in having spent this much money on sheets that disintegrated in the wash. I even washed the sheets on delicate every single time, all to no avail. So, the search for quality sheets continues as I refuse to pay this much money to have to replace the sheets every year and a half to two years. Simply unacceptable.

I love great, high quality sheets and am willing to pay for them( I mean I do spend every night in them). I read the other reviews for these sheets and decided these were the ones for me. After I received them I washed them and put them right on my bed, and they were fantastic. However, after a few weeks and a few washes they are very pilly, which makes them feel just awful, and not at all worth the price!

These are the softest,well-made (huge,thick elastic on the fitted sheet)sheets that I've ever seen. Thank you to the reviewers on this site for steering us away from the Wamsutta 775 sheets (scratchy and thin) over to the luxurious world of this bedding set!We even bought and returned a couple of Charisma sheets from Bloomingdales before commiting to this rather expensive addition to our bedroom. Worth every penny-aaaahh!-One minute on these puppies and you will know what I mean... Like a night in a fine hotel!!!

Our mattress is deep and we could not find sheets to fit so we splurged on these wonderful luxurious sheets. They are like sleeping on silk, soft, and smooth, only slightly wrinkled after washing and smooth on the bed. The bottom sheet stays put and does not move, it has wide elastic all around the sheet which keeps it in place. The fabric is heavy and strong. I expect these sheets to last a long time and the ivory color is perfect for our decor.

I bought these sheets about a year ago and they are amazing! They are the softest, smoothest sheets I have ever purchased (and I like to purchase high quality, high thread count sheets). The top sheet and fitted sheet are over-sized -- which is great on a deep mattress. They have washed well (and I hate to put other sheets on the bed). Yes -- they are expensive -- but worth it! My in-laws stayed at my home and had to ask about the sheets! I plan to buy additional sets for gifts to parents and in-laws this year.
