Will get the job done

I Have been using this product for about 3 mouths. Has been an adjustment from our old waffle iron. This one uses a lot less mix we have put too much mix in several times, and the temperatures of the waffle makers are different. When the green light comes on our waffles have been ready to take out. The small con against the waffle iron would be that the temperature slide is loose around 4 and 5 darkness range. I suggest following the directions in the booklet that comes with it. We have not used oil or pam on this waffle iron and have only had our first waffle stick to the iron. I have put this waffle iron to the test on sticking to the waffle. I use it between 4-5 days a week. I would say for us this was the right waffle iron on the market for the price.

Very easy to use with the green/red light indicator. It is a no brainer when it comes to getting the waffles done just right. Perfect size for a small family of two, as we are. Only downside was when I went to clean it, it is a bit time consuming.

Excellent Waffle Maker

Bought this last evening, and just made a bunch of waffles for the family. My three year old loved them. There was no smell that a couple of others mentioned. It took two waffles to figure out that a full half cup was the perfect amount. I like them crunchier on the outside so used the 5 setting. Clean up was a breeze, and just wiped of the plates with a tissue. Spray some Pam on the plates for each waffle and there was no sticking. A couple little bits popped out the sides when I put a tad to much mix, but they cooked too and came off with the waffle. The waffles are not too thick, which is what kids like, and me too. As soon as I finished making one waffle the machine was ready for another. The light clicks to green when the waffle was done, and that was easy. Forget the higher price models I say, and buy this one.

More Chinese made junk

Bought this waffle maker because of the brand reputation, so much for ruputations. I have had two of these. Tthe first of which would not close after three waffles, all of which stuck to the upper grid. BB&B graciously exchanged it for another. The replacement still closes but the waffles stick to the upper grid, cook unevenly and not thoroughly. The waffle maker grids lack enough mass to distribute heat evenly and cook thoroughly. You can see the heating element circular patern in the waffle and when the ready light comes on the inside of the waffle is still uncooked. I am going to give this one to someone I don't like and buy another brand, hopefully with better results.

Delicious waffles!

My husband and I received this as a wedding present and it has worked beautifully! The "light feature" that indicates when the waffles are finished makes operation quite simple. The only (minor) issue I have had is with initial sticking of the waffle to the lower plate. However, this was very easily combated by placing a small amount of butter on the plate before pouring the batter. All in all, we are very pleased with this waffle maker and would definitely recommend it!

Difficult to Clean

This waffle maker is excellent - the waffles are delicious, the light changes from red to green when waffles are cooked, and the waffle maker is compact, making it easy to store. The only issue that it is very difficult to clean since the actual waffle iron part is not removable. If it were, I would give this product a 5/5 and recommend it.

As the waffle iron cooks it emits a smelly, offensive steam. Unfortunately, this smell cooks into the waffle and affects the taste in a BAD way! I used the iron around 3-4 times and got the same result. I do not recommend this waffle iron due to the chemical smell and chemical taste of the waffle.

I received this as a shower gift and had to return. The handles got really hot, the batter dripped down the sides, and it was very hard to clean. It seemed like it could have been made better because it was a tad flimsy. I replaced it with Hamilton Beach no mess waffle maker which is cheaper and a zillion times better. Cuisinart makes great products but this was an epic fail.

This is one of the easiest waffle makers I have ever used. The light changes from red to green when the waffle is done, and it has worked every time. They are cooked perfectly, and I have never had a problem with sticking. I would recommend this!

This Cuisinart waffle maker works great and makes delicious waffles. It's very reasonably priced, too. A perfect replacement for the one we had that quit working.

Good little waffle maker!

I really like this waffle maker. The unit heats up quickly and it takes only around two minutes for each batch to cook. I have no problem at all with waffles sticking to the waffle maker like some people have experienced. I brush a small amount of vegetable oil on the plates while they are cool, and then pre-heat the waffle maker. I don't even have to discard the first batch and I don't have to re-oil for each batch. (I would not recommend using cooking spray since I always find it gunks up whatever bake ware I spray it on.) Additionally, I really like the size of the waffles. They are perfect for a single serving. This waffle maker is lightweight and compact so it stores easily. It's a great price and well worth trying. I am thinking about getting a second one for the times when I have a crowd over for breakfast.

So easy to use

It makes the best waffles, one at a time, but quickly. The green light tells me when it is ready to put the batter in and again when the waffles are ready to come out. No. 3 setting is the best. I sprayed it only once, per batch with a non-stick spray. My batter is Hungry Jack Complete Buttermilk pancake mix, using the waffle recipe on the back. No clean-up. Lightweight and easy storage.

We received this product as a shower gift. I used the product for the first time last night, and I love it! I did use cooking spray (I do with everything just to be safe), and I had no problem with any sticking. The waffles were a perfect golden brown (I recommend #2 setting). It also comes with a couple waffle recipes! I definitely recommend!

I was so excited about this Waffle maker and to me it was just ok... The waffles stick quite often even with cooking spray and no one wants that! Although there aren't too many options.

This was one of the first gifts we received off our wedding registry, and I LOVE it! I've never had a waffle iron before, and I don't know how I lived before. It makes great waffles, though we had to experiment with the settings a bit, and it's small size is great for those of us with very limited counter space. It can be a chore to clean with all the crevices, but I suspect that's something you get with any waffle iron. Definitely recommend!

This waffle maker was everything I expected it to be. The stand up for storage feature is a plus. The feature to make the waffle light or dark is great. We had waffles the first night and thoroughly enjoyed them.

I bought it, and the day after used it to make whole wheat waffles for my aunts. They loved them!
Used canola oil spray, setting 3. Nothing did stick and it was very easy to use and clean after.

Having 5 heat setting choices and a truly non-stick surface (don't put oil on it) has made this the best waffle iron, and at around $30 a great value. It even stores nicely. And I've tried lots of waffle irons before this one!
I used to make the best waffles until my trusty old waffle iron broke. The first replacement was a disaster -- my waffles were terrible! I think it did not heat enough. A relative gave me theirs --my waffles flopped. I even purchased an antique. I was ready to give up when my daughter wanted waffles for her birthday. I bought this one with great trepidation. But it turned out to be great. (I use Better Homes & Gardens Oh Boy! Waffles recipe)
