I've had a Tassimo since 2005, sold that model and upgraded in 2010. LOVE these machines and their coffees. the morning roast is great and I love my Skinny Capps in the morning. No need to drop $$ at Starbucks for a skinny latte! The huge amount of Keurig marketing has made that machine seem more appealing. I WILL NEVER switch. Gevalia coffee is one of the best and both machines have never failed me. I change the filter every 3 months and get an accurate perfect cup every morning!

While the machine makes great cappuccino, the machine quickly becomes obsolete because nowhere in Texas am I able to buy the de-scaler that is needed for regular maintenance of the machine. Tassimo will definitely lose the market to Keurig because buying Tassimo products in Texas is a real challenge. Unfortunately, the Tassimo company is not helpful either as I discovered after making six phone calls. My advice, stay away from this product!

I got my Tassimo when they first came out about 5years ago and I love it. I'm not the everyday coffee drinker, but its got its wear and tear. It's time to buy another one. I was torn between the kuerig or t45 again, but considering everytime I look around someone is buying or returning the kuerig I'm deciding to stay true to the t45. The 3rd light that looks like a faucet dripping keeps coming on red everytime I lift the lever up, calling customer service and tech support decided it's time for a new one and of course warranty is out. Disappointed that they don't sell the Maxwell House Decaf anymore in Target/Walmart or BBB have to purchase online. Love it and would recommend to others.

I have been using this Tassimo for over a year now. The company I work for uses a Keurig Office Pro. I would pick the Tassimo over the Keurig any day. The lattes are delicious. I would rather have a Chai Tea Latte made from the Tassimo than from Starbucks. It's easy to operate after you have done it once. It stay's clean (aka there are not coffee grounds getting into my tea) and there is a variety of drinks to choose from. Every time I go to BBB there is a new coffee, latte, or cappuccino to try. Although the hot chocolate is not very good. Over all this is a great machine. I am thinking of purchasing one for my parents and one for my self at the office. I have not had any issues with my machine, even took it to TN for Thanksgiving with the family.

I just purchased a new Tassimo T45. I have no experience in single serve brewing systems, so I had to read the directions first, because it is not quite as easy as I thought it would be, but with the directions, I managed to get the machine set up. When I went on-line to register the machine, I was disappointed to find that if I had mentioned a code, I could have received 4 free packages of coffee, I am surprised that BBB did not use this as a selling point. I had someone help me locate the machine, discussed coffees, had them send me a box of coffee that they did not have in stock, but no mention of free coffee. So go on-line and research first. It makes a pretty decent cup of coffee once you figure it out.

Purchased about 3 yrs ago and then had a recall. Received the part for the recall and it only lasted about 2 myths before it broke, was really cheaply made. Soon after the maker quit working as well. Called the company for help and after a series of checks decided it was shot and needed replaced. BUT, because it was out of warrantee they couldn't do ANYTHING for me. I undrestand warranties but if they're products are only gonna last 3 yrs or less then keep the junk off the market!!! Terribly disappointed

After researching the various single-serve options available, I finally decided on the Tassimo. I wanted not only convenience and ease of use, but a great cup of coffee too. The fact that I can also make espresso based drinks made this the clear winner. I love that I can have a coffee, latte, mocha or tea whenever the mood strikes.

I'm on my third T45. First one was recalled, so exchanged it. The 2nd had an issue with the puncture device. The milk would get everywhere and only empty about half way, along with coffee grounds opening up all over the place. The 3rd one does the same thing. There isn't another upgrade version available, but I have all this coffee disks to use. Had to buy in bulk off of BBB, because you could never find the Caramel Lattes in the store. Waiting until I use all of them to see what my next options are. The Keurig Vue looks like another option, but I can't find any lattes in BBB either.

The price is worth it because it saves from my daily addiction to Starbucks. Just need to find one that works.

The T45 is fantastic. I wouldn't waste the extra money on the T65. I originally went to the store to get the T65 but they were out of stock so I got the T45. It's Extremely easy to use after the first few times once you understand what the various colored lights and symbols mean. The T65 LCD version is identical in quality and features to the T45 except for the LCD itself which gives you ony a few very limited texts. After you use this a few of times you won't even pay attention to the LCD anyway. It will become second nature. Unless this Mancini is for an office or place were you will have frequent "rookie" guests operating the machine on a regular basis, I wouldn't waste the extra money on the T65. Both the T65 and T45 make great coffee and specialty drinks like flavored teas, espresso, latte, macchiato, etc. The frothed milk is almost as good as a restaurant and flavor of coffee is great. I'm not sure why some people are complaining of difficulting finding variety of the drink disks in stock. The store I went to had dozens of different T Disks of all flavors and types. And online at Bed Bath and Beyond, Amazon, and Tassimo Direct as well as other online vendors there seemed to be an endless supply of a huge variety of T-Disks. Perhaps from time to time there are back orders of some types but not at every vendor. You can always find what you want somewhere. Bed Bath and Beyojd has free shipping, so does Amazon and Tassimo Direct for all of the different T-Disks. If you like any drinks with real frothed milk, Tassimo is the machine to buy. Kuereg doesn't make real frothed drinks. And most other machines use powdered milk products which I can't stand. The Tassimo T-65 and T-45 both use shelf safe real milk that doesn't need to be refrigerated and lasts for many months. For kids, they even have restaruant quality hot chocolate with real frothed milk swirl. My kids absolutely love it.

I am getting ready to return my 2nd Tassimo! After about 6-12 months both quit working. I am trying to find my reciept just to have it and then I am RETURNING it for a Kurieg or credit. The TASSIMO is just sitting on my counter taking up space. Very disappointed with Tassimo and their CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS!!!!

I have had this machine for a few years and I have to say it is the best machine I have ever had! I just wish more stores carried the coffee discs...fo r some reason places that used to carry them don't anymore. But luckily BB&B still gives a good supply! I just hope they keep coming out with different and new coffees to try. But all in all it's a great product never going back to a big machine it's a hassle to always clean the pot and filters! Not with his one u don't clean a thing except to wipe it down after use. Love my Tassimo

I bought the T-45 several months ago, and I found that half the milk creamer stays in the pod and doesn't go into the cup for the Chai tea. It makes a terrible mess when I take it out of the machine. I finally decided to return it and go for the top model, the T65. WHAT A DIFFERENCE!! They have replaced the piercing unit so apparently there have been complaints from others regarding the issue I described. Also this has a cool light that illuminates the cup while the coffee/tea are being made. Not one drop of milk was wasted! I couldn't be more pleased!

Tassimo Single Brew Coffee Maker

Love it! (was a Starbucks addict) After reading reviews I chose the Tassimo and have never been disappointed. The deciding factor was it being able to make cappucino and lattes. I even tried a few variations of my own for variety like adding a few drops of vanilla into my cup before I make it and voila' it is wonderful for a nice change. Also just a half teaspoon of sugar can make a difference. I never use two cream discs to make the latte. I add a little cream to my cup first and use only one cream disc. Using two makes it to milky & weak for my taste. But overall I love using it. My husband has even started drinking coffee with me at home because it is so convenient! I have had it for 6 mos. now and have never had to use the "scaling" type clean. If you wipe the nozzle everytime you make coffee and break it down at the nozzle once a week and clean it out thoroughly and rinse out your water holder from time to time it seems to just keep on working. Now if the prices would come down on the discs it would be perfect!

I've been using the T45 machine for 2 days. It performs well. I don't understand about the "2 free filter cartridges" because there was only one in the box. So far I've only tried the Gevalia cappaccino which was awful. I truly can't relate to these people who say it is delicious. It's completely nasty. And it DOES NOT compete with coffee shops that sell cappaccino. I tried the Twinning's Chai Latte. That one is better but still has a hint of a burnt flavor as well as too much of some kind of spice and cheap tasting milk. However, I can overlook the quality and keep this batch. I'm definitely returning this trashy cappaccino.

Take the Good with the Bad

Excellent coffee when using Gevalia, which has 27 varieties on its website. Use your Bed and Bath coupons for 20% off a package at BB&B. However, we purchased this unit last Christmas and the computer is dead as of last night. We have used this holidays and maybe once or twice a week since purchase. We are going to purchase the more expensive model this time and hope we do not have the same results. This is made by Bosch and one would think it would last longer; but we've had two Bosch diswashers in 5 years that broke down and finally replaced with a GE Profile. Perhaps if there were more competition with the Bosch Tassimo, they would make a better product.
We will try one more time since we love the lattes and cappucinos and ease of use.

My workplace and all my fellow employees have a Keurig, and I was originally going to get one of those, because I do enjoy the variety. However, I did a lot of research, and to my surprise, I was favoring the Tassimo. For a fraction of the price, I could get a machine that does not just drip coffee and tea, but also lattes, capps, mochas, etc. The reviews are way better for the tassimo, and almost everyone I know with a Keurig has had to return their machine for some sort of malfunction.

The drinks with the Tassimo are DELICIOUS. The peppermint mocha seriously made my day. My only complaint with the machine (and it seems it's a common one) is that there is not a lot of variety for coffee flavors and brands. This doesn't bother me a ton, because I am a creature of habit, and if I need something special, I add a flavored syrup like that in a coffee house.

It's all up to what you like. Do you only like drip coffee? The Tassimo isn't for you. Do you like coffee AND a variety of espresso drinks? Then get the Tassimo. You won't be disappointed.

I've always had a good experience with this unit and the TS65 (I have one of each). A friend has a coffee shop (she knows her coffee) and she advised me to get this over the K-cup models. Good call! The Tassimo's have more variety with espresso's and such, and the coffee is hotter than the other single serve machines. Where I'm located Target carries the T-disc's. If anyone is having a problem with a store not carrying, simply ask the store manager if they would carry them and that you be buying them on a regular basis. It makes it worth their while to carry. I read in another review that he/she was having trouble with grounds. The only thing I can think of that would cause that is if they opened and closed the unit with the same disc in it multiple times causing more piercings in the disc than should be. There is a yellow colored cleaning disc in the back by the water reservoir. Put the where you'd put the coffee disc and hold the button in for about ten seconds. The unit will start a clear water flush that will last about 5 to 10 minutes or so. I do this about once a month or so with distilled water. Depends on where you are in the U.S. and how hard your water is. Anyway, I highly recommend the Bosch Tassimo. The coffee taste is high quality.

I got this product about 3 weeks ago and have made all sorts of coffee, latte, cocoa, etc. They are all wonderful and taste great. Tassimo has a bunch of new bold and extra bold coffees that have just come out and they are great. I have used the Tassimo about 3-5 times a day and have had no issues with it. I would strongly recommend this item for some who wants to make some great tasting items.

In my opinion this is not worth the money or hassle. Coffee everytime taste burnt, The T-Discs are really hard to find in stores with only minimal selections as the customer service rep told me "most people like to order there T-Discs on line." Personally, I don't know many friends who would prefer to pay shipping and handling instead of the conveniece of picking it up when your out at the store and come to find out... the product I ordered has been on backorder for three months! Furthermore, I have had nothing but a terrible experience with the customer service reps every time I have called. My maker came with 2 free packages of T-Disc. I call, because the website is down... In addition to my 2 free T-Discs I wanted to add two Moca's to my order... I get my conformation e-mail... She didn't put it on the order... I call C/S... they say "oh it's on backorder" without even checking my order. I Call again as I am not happy with that answer and don't you know... It wasn't put on the order! Then I ask for my order to be cancelled so I can combine my orders, I was told I would have to call back the next day as the order has to be processing. I do so the next morning and get the response that I cannot cancel my order because my order is already processing!!!! I'm taking this back and buying a Kurig!

I originally registered for the Tassimo on my wedding registry and loved it, at the start. It worked great for about 6 months, then started spewing grinds from the coffee pods into my drink. I cleaned the machine per instructions and it still didn't help. I then tried replacing the piercing unit and that didn't help either. After a year I was sick of cleaning up coffee grounds and, hoping that it was just a defective machine, bought another one. At first the new one worked fine, then it started with the coffee grounds again. Now it won't fill the cup with more than 4 ounces of coffee, no matter how long you hold the button to add water. I love the way it makes coffee, tea, lattes, espressos, etc., but I can't bring myself to recommend this or to buy another one. I'll be purchasing a Keurig to replace it.
