Best Purchase Ever

I bought this mattress for a number of reasons. The first reason, it was cheaper than a standard mattress. The second reason, I could transport it myself in my car. It is the best choice of ever made. I have slept on the mattress every day for the past 7 months. I read another review which stated it help with their back problem. I was very skeptical about that statement; however, I am a firm believer. I no longer have a nagging back problem. The only problem I would say that the mattress has is that I have to deflate it a little in order to put the sheets on the bed. But after I put the sheets on, I just re-flate to the desired firmness which takes only a few seconds. No one knows that it is an air mattress. I love it.

I received this as a gift from my wedding registry, but the inflate button on the mattress itself never worked, but the handheld one worked so I dealt with it. It was great the first few times I used it, VERY COMFORTABLE, but rolling it up to store is awkward because of the huge control panel on it. I actually ripped where the control panel and the mattress meet. Now it is unusable. Used approximately 10 times. Now broken. :(

I read all of the reviews and decided to try my luck with this product although most seem to have issues with it. I figured well most reviews are negative in general so let's give it a shot. I need a temporary bed until my new one arrives but planned on keeping it for guests. The 3rd night I tried to use it the inflate button no longer worked. Like the previous review I was able to inflate it with the control wand. This problem seems unfortunately all too common. I suggest shopping around for similar products and skipping this one.

I bought the single Aero bed mattress yesterday and the inflate device didn't work, although the deflate did. I was able to blow it up with the control wand and so was able to sleep on it and it was comfortable. But I returned it today for another identical one and the same problem with the inflate button. I suggest checking to see if it works in the store first.

I am now on my third bed (two warrantied) in one year. No kids just one adult person (134 lbs.) sleeping on it at a time for sleepovers here and there. The partitions keep letting go in the middle. For $250.00 this bed should not do this. Buyer beware.

I purchased a queen size on last June and now a big bubble has developed in the center. I took it back to the store and got a replacement, but now they are only 11.5 inches tall instead of the 14 inches shown on the box and in the description. I even had them open up another one in the store and it was also 11.5 inches tall. If you actually use this mattress more than occassionally then keep your receipt handy.

My husband and I looked at the sleepnumber beds and nearly fainted when we found out how much they are. So being extremely frugal with our money we decided we could make our own sleep number bed by using two twin aerobeds. We are currently using the box springs from our king size mattress that we got rid of. We are planning to build a platform bed to better accommodate the aerobeds. The best part of these beds is that my husband has all but stopped snoring!!!!!!!!! Believe it or not they are comfortable and wouldn't go back to a regular bed. My daughter has a queen aero bed in her apartment at college she loves it!
