I received these back in 2008 as a wedding gift and I LOVE them! My husband managed to break and chip a few plates so I am going to get 2 more sets. These you can use everyday and are classy not very busy. Enjoy!!

These are such a great value! I only wish the set came with saucers for the coffee mugs. Still they are a good alternative if you don't plan to register for fine china. I didn't want to worry about registering for place settings and then having to complete a set. However, I still wanted something by Mikasa! I love these. Plus, I am not afraid to use them everyday. I got the matching platter and serving bowl. PLEASE make more dishes in the red berries print. =)

Fantastic Dishes

I registered for these dishes when I got married about a year and a half ago, and I love them. They are not too heavy or too light, the sizes are perfect, and I love the design- just enough to be a little more fun and decorative than plain white. I have gotten chips on the edges of a couple of plates, but only because I am clumsy and have banged them together on accident while loading the dishwasher. I only registered for 2 sets and am thrilled to see they are still on the market because I want to buy at least one set so I have plenty and can hold on to them for a long, long time.

I received these dishes 2 years ago as we registered for them for our wedding. I liked them initially and LOVE them since I have owned them. First of all, the design is just right- not too much busyness but just enough to stand out from the plain dinnerware. I have not had a single item crack, chip, break, or have any issues with the paint. They are very durable and classy! I am picky when it comes to kitchenware and I highly recommend these.

I've had this set since April 08' and they have held up so well! No chips or breaks thus far. I am going to purchase my 3rd set soon to have a 12 place setting and would recommend these to anyone. They look beautiful for Christmas, too!!

i registered for these as my "everyday" dishes on my bridal registry and fancier dishes as my fine china and i like these ones waaay more! Theyre so cute & vibrant in real life and very sturdy. The bowls are very deep which i like as well. I would highly reccoment these to everyone!

I love these dishes. I am super exited to find that there are now matching accessories. I've had these dishes now for over two years now. I've managed to get a chip on one of the plates. I don't remember how that happened/ Other than that, they are holding up very well. I couldn't afford china for my wedding, but I use this for format occasions and every day. My only negative about the set is that the bowls stack high because of the shapes of the bowls. Right now it's just me and my husband. However, I have three sets I wanted these to last my lifetime. And everyone who eats at my house compliments me on the dishes. My dining room is red. I set the table with green place mats for format occasions. Enjoy!!!

I bought two sets of these a year ago for my everyday dishes and, though I've had a broken bowl or plate here or there, it's because of mishaps. I love the color and the pattern. I had been searching for dishes to match my kitchen; these are exactly what I'd been looking for! I'm getting ready to buy a third set. Great for the holidays to compliment the white set I already had.

Simple but not long lasting

We received two sets of this dinnerware in August 2008 for our wedding. I am absolutely in love with the pattern and we get tons of compliments on it. However, at least half of the pieces are chipped, four have broken and we're not exactly using them as frisbees. That said, I love the pattern so much I am just going to buy another set to replace my battered pieces.

Very Pretty, but NOT durable

We recieved these as a wedding gift in June 2010. The first box we recieved had a few broken bowls, so we exchanged it with no problems. We use these as our every day dishes and they are a great size and are not too heavy like other dishes are. However, we have had one of the dinner plates crack from one side to the other (although just on the top, not all of the way through) and another dinner plate is chipped. We are not abusive at all on our plates, we don't have any children using them, we hand wash them, and we have never dropped them. We have no idea how they got broken. Overall, these are beautiful plates and we love them, but I would not buy them again or reccommend them for anything but fine china, they do not do well for everyday use.

These dishes are beautiful. The simple design red design makes them pop without being overwhelming. Even though these feel a bit Asian the red berries make them work well for Thanksgiving and Christmas. This last year my table for Christmas dinner was made up in red, white and silver and it was beautiful.

I bought this set today exactly a year ago... they look today as good as new! I throw them in the microwave and sink, they have never chipped, the red color is just as vibrant and the white just as pure as when I first got it! My kitchen has a red color tone and these fit perfdectly!
This is one beautiful set!
