The best and durable cookware set ever!!

I bought this set last year and I decided to wait 1 year to write my review. First of all, they are very durable, and if you don't scratch them with forks and knives, they will last forever. Please only use wood or plastic utensils. Second, you will save energy because you don't need high heat to cook your meals, only medium and/or medium-high. Third, you'll save time cooking, since everything will be done faster!!. Fourth, the flavor on your meals is awesome!!! You can cook without oil or butter, or with lots of both, wathever you like better. Only be careful when cleaning your set: NEVER place them in the diswasher, just carefully wash them by hand and they will last long!! COnclusion: After 1 year, they are still look like new. Good buy!!

Had these for 2 years and love them still. Heres a few things to understand about this cookware, Do Not cook on high heat, theres no need its hard anodized for a reason, its heats up the pan and continuely cooks evenly. Medium heat to med high is fine. Second never ever use "pam" on non stick it will eat the coating, its non stick already why would you waste spraying it? Third, let the pan cool, then put hot sudsy water in it first, go to your other dishes or load the washer then wash the pot/pan, food slides out and a regular scothbrite sponge works fine. Also hint to clean the bottom if it turns brown use Bar keepers friend pots/pans look brand new. I love this cookware as long as you follow the directions and know how to cook with this type of cookware you'll be fine

Biggest Disappointment

I bought the complete set 5 years ago. My husband always cooked on high heat, so that is why I thought they went bad so quickly. I have replaced a few of the pans and after having them for 4 months with only me using them, washing them by hand and only using nylon cooking utensils everything sticks, the non-stick coating is coming off and the money I thought I saved buying the replacements at a similar open stock sale is no savings because I have to spend even more money to replace the entire set. Not the quality you'd expect from the Calphalon name. Don't waste your money.

I received these as a wedding gift almost 2 years ago. For the first year, these seemed to be decent. Recently, however, the non-stick coating has been coming off and food sticks terribly. My pans look awful...like they're 20 years old! I hate to buy a whole new set after I've only had them for 2 years! What a waste of money! I would not recommend these to anyone. I'll be going with stainless steel after this. More studies have shown non-stick pans to be a health hazard anyway, so I might as well switch.

I've had these going on 2 years now. I haven't had any problem with cleaning or sticking issues. But I have noticed, it does make a difference in what you use to cook with and how you clean your pots an pans!
My husband cooks and cleans differently. If you cook on very high heat (which shouldn't be needed or used with these pans) things burn and stick. Using "Pam" on a non stick surface isn't going to help cleaning since Pam leaves reside behind. And if you let the pan sit too long after cooking, yeah it's going to be harder to clean! But these are truly non stick. I can make chicken, pancakes, eggs, vegetables, pork, rice, all without ANY of them sticking and clean up is easy with a quick rinse of HOT water.
And as long as you don't use any abrasive cleaning tools (scour sponges or wool steel) the pan surface remains intact and non-stick.
For the price, these are the best pans I've ever had. I would definitely recommend this set. I received mine as a registry gift.

Seriously, I was really happy with this cookware set for the first 3 months. They were really easy to clean, but the more I cooked, the harder it got to clean them. I cook pretty much everyday at least twice a day. I used plastic utensils and I washed the pots by hand. Hoping that it will make them last for years. It didn't matter 'cause the non-stick coating is starting to peel. I even found pieces of it in my food.
Maybe, this set will work for you. If you are a casual cook.
It's been 6 months and my pots look as if they were a decade old. I do not recommend this brand.

I love my new Calphalon Simply cookware. Easy to clean, cooks evenly, handle stays cool to touch.... For the money this is a great product - glad I purchased it! Simply love the Dutch oven - great size for soups, chili, cooking a roast, etc!

I'm very disappointed with this set. They cook food well - the problem comes when you go to clean them. The bolts that hold the handles on come through with fasteners on the inside of the pans. Food cooks onto these and is near impossible to get off, defeating a large part of the purpose of having non-stick cookware. The $40 teflon set I had from Walmart before these were easier to deal with. I'll probably end up donating these to some poor sap and getting another cheap teflon set.
