Go for the Hen

I bought it because it was quirky and found out that it works really well. I cooked hard boiled eggs in it and they were all perfectly cooked. Set-up and clean-up were a breeze. I didn't have to watch boiling water, I was able to do other things as the Hen 'chirps' when the cooking cycle is complete. Very happy with this product.

Love this cute little Hen egg cooker! Easy to use and it "steams" the eggs just right. I make deviled eggs or egg salad more often since the egg shells peel so easy no matter if the eggs were super fresh or older. Easy to wipe clean as well. After rinsing the eggs under cold water, I do take the eggs off and put the plastic egg tray and top cover back on the bottom non stick while it's warm in order for it to stay closed better.

I bought this for my Grandson because he loves hard boiled eggs and he loves it. The top gets very hot so we don't let him use it himself as we hoped to but other than that it is great.

I never can tell whether my eggs will come out too runny or too hard. The compartment where the water is measured is not accurate. The middle part does not fit properly on the bottom.

I purchased this egg cooker and found that its quick and fun to use. I tried using Jumbo size eggs and they did not fit in the egg holes, no big deal, just bought smaller eggs next time at the store. Eggs peeled very easy!

The first time I used the egg cooker, I put in the seven eggs and the top didn't cover the entire thing, causing the unit to leak all over. The second time I put in fewer eggs and it worked pretty well. I just used it for the third time, and once again it leaked everywhere, and the eggs weren't fully done. It's easier just to boil them in a pot.

I've owned Henrietta for years now. Didn't usually have luck making hardboiled eggs the old-fashioned way. I've tried other gadgets for cooking hardboiled eggs ~ with no luck, either. That was until I got Henrietta. Now it's a no-brainer. Put water in there, to the level needed for whichever egg style you want ~ poached, soft boiled, or hardboiled. My son loves hardboiled eggs so much that I'm on here to buy him one for his new apartment. I've been piercing the eggs for years ~ the way I was shown. He pointed out to me that if you don't pierce them they come out better (less cracking) ~ and he's right. Now they're even easier to make. This appliance is AWESOME!

I love this appliance! After using mine for years, I bought this item for several members of my family because it is the easiest and fastest way to make perfectly cooked eggs everytime-from soft to hard boiled. There is no guessing as to whether the eggs are cooked since Henrietta chirps when eggs are done. I make 14 deviled eggs (which my family loves) in less then 10 minutes from start to finish. I highly recommend this item. You will love how simple it is to use.
