THE BEST GIFT EVER!!!

This is definitely the best gift my husband has ever given to me! I LOVE it! I really enjoy the Strabucks coffees. The French Roast and Sumatra are the best (I love the deep smokey flavor), they are just as good as they are at Starbucks, but in the comfort of your own home. I also drink alot of green tea. I use my machine to brew hot water into my whole leaf tea. My husband also bought me the refillable cup, but the tea does not brew long enough. I use that cup when I purchase ground coffee. I love the versatility of being able to purchase the pre filled cups or filling my own with the special refillable cup.

Love Love Love my Keurig!

I've had to reduce my caffeine intake for health reasons, and my hubs only drinks one cup in the morning. I ended up tossing coffee down the drain because we wouldn't even finish a pot in two days (hubs likes his coffee super strong caffeinated). I weaned us off leaded but I knew he wasn't real thrilled about it. So...here comes Keurig to our rescue!! Hubby has his ultra-leaded, and I get my better decaf - YAY!! And no wasted coffee! Where I live, BBB & Kohl's k-cups are priced exactly the same. So when I get a 30% off at Kohl's I totally stock up. In the meantime (when I don't get a 30%) I get them at BBB with a 20% off.

Just go to Starbcks

I was disappointed in this K-cup. First of all I had to brew it on 6 ounces and it still was not as full bodied as the real thing. I love Pikes Place coffee but this didn't taste like what I'd get at Starbucks. For what a 16 pack ends up costing per serving you really aren't saving anything using the K cup. In my opinion it does not replicate the real thing so if you are in the mood for Starbucks skip this and go to Starbucks. Besides if you have a registered Starbucks card you can get a free refill so it's even cheaper.

My daughter bought me the mini-Keurig for Christmas, and I have used it everyday. I really want a cup of coffee in the morning, but it was a waste for me to buy a can of coffee make a pot (even a small one) just for one cup of coffee. What a waste of money! I absolutely love the k-cups! I can choose coffee, hot chocolate, flavored coffee, tea...and no waste! BBB has the best prices around, and with the 20% off coupon, you can't beat it. My local BBB (Hazelwood, MO) has a HUGE selection of flavors, too. I purchased the "drawer" that goes under the brewer and love being able to store 36 k-cups with the brewer.
Now if I could just find a leakproof and spillproof travel cup that keeps my coffee hot! Any recommendations?

The K-Cups online are the same price as in the stores. With my 20% online discount, and free shipping, this is the bargain of the year. I loved the review about recycling them. Great tip!!

Recycling K Cups

I love using K cups and I also recycle the cups when I am done. I tear off the aluminum and save that in a container until I have enough to roll into a ball and put into my recycling bin. I scoop out the coffee grounds that go into my compost pile (coffee grounds are great for the garden too. I wash out the cups and let them dry. I then stack them together so it is easier for sorting once it reaches the sorting area and place them in my recycling bin. I don't feel guilty for using the K cups when I have done all this. I also use my reusable K cup with ground coffee in my Cuisinart K Cup machine.

The Only Downside to K-Cups

So far the only downside I see to using a Keurig brewer are the K-Cups themselves. While they work fine and are easy to use and no mess, they are plastic and not anywhere near as biodegradable as other products. It would be great if they were a bit more eco-friendly.
I feel like I'm not doing my part for the environment every time I have have a cup!
BTW, is Bed, Bath and Beyond now selling Dunkin' Donuts coffee? I see Starbucks but no DD yet?

We just bought our Keurig, some K-cups and a solo fill cup. We can use our own coffee or the k-cups. Works great and you can't beat BBB return policy. They have always been more than generous in allowing items to be returned, more than anywhere I have shopped. Used their coupon on the coffee maker and saved extra!

I am shocked that people are complaining about the cost of K cups at BBB......they are the cheapest around, trust me I have checed everywhere...In my town they chareg $11.99 for a box of 18, and you then use your 20% off coupon, do the math.....no one else has it that cheap......Stop complaining about prices...things are going up all over, why shold coffee be any different........Love my Keurig...I own 2. One at my summer home, and one at my primary residence......love it........just wish BBB sold Timoth[y's Breakfast Blend, but Green Mountain is good, and so is Donut Shop..........I'm a happy customer, and their return policy is by far the best ever.........stop complaining.,

Stop Complaining!

WHY is is BBB's fault that the prices of K-Cups have gone up? It is the fault of their supplier(s) so put the blame where it belongs! IF you can afford to pay $150 for a coffee maker, then don't complain about the cost of the coffee cups to go into it. I didn't even know about the Solofil until it was brought up in other reviews, so there is a CHEAPER ALTERNATIVE, so button the lips and fill the Solofil and drink your coffee that way. No one put a gun to your head to purchase a Keurig coffee maker, so why should you expect them to buy back your coffee maker because the cost of the K-Cups have gone up? The price of EVERYTHING has gone up, so why should you complain about the K-CUPS? The Keurig Coffee Maker is a good invention and great appliance to have in your kitchen for a quick cup of coffee, and there are so many different varieties of K-CUP flavors.

Unless one is ordering a larger quantity of k-cups from the Kuerig website (with free shipping over $45) you get a better deal from Bed Bath and Beyond by using your 20% off coupons. Amazon is really expensive because of the $5 shipping charge. I save my coupons and drive 2 miles down the street and save that way. Plus, it's a good excuse to have a good look around a BBand B store (which is always so much fun).

Great Coffee and a good Bargin for us

Yes, Yes, the prices are going up....however, going back to pot cofee will not be for us....we as many were wasting far too much coffee that way. My husband likes bold, very strong coffee and I prefer much weaker coffee...we re-use our k-cups! (3-times!) He takes the first cup at medium size, which is very strong, I take the 2nd cup at largest size and then another at the small size...all from 1 K-Cup! It works out perectly for us as we both drink our coffe black, no cream or sugar to weaken the flavor.
When we used to make pots he made it so strong I had to add 1/2 to 3/4 water to it for it to be drinkable. More times than not it had to be tossed and re-made.
BB&B has pretty good prices on the K-Cups and our method saves us even more!
Till the coffee prices come back down try this method...you may be pleasantly surprised!

K-Cup Price

I just purchased the K-Cup maker and coffee for my office. If you weigh out how much coffee goes down the drain with a regular coffee maker because it sat there for hours, where as the K-Cup, you aren't putting it down the drain, so your waste is nothing. Everything is going up, our economy is in hard times, but don't blame BBB, blame the people who created the bad economy . I love my K-Cup and I have ordered one for my home.

A Lot of Fuss

I'm kinda' shocked as I read the reviews for this product. First, I'm a new K-cup person and I really like it (needed to go decaf for health reasons). But I can't help wonder about all the comments about price. I've been watching coffee prices soar in every venue, including grocery stores. Its unfortunate, but K-cups are not the only casualty. So why take it out on BBB? The person that really got me was lamamasnina (on 2/9) who said she wouldn't be shopping at BBB any more even though she used to buy "tons" of stuff every week when she went to get her K-cups.. but not anymore. Then, bbeliever (on 2/15) she said the price isn't cheaper than anyone else any more so what's the incentive to shop at BBB. She said, "Its all about making money, eh? and not about the customer." How about the helpful associates? How about the awesome return policy? How about the lines of quality products? Do the other retailer have incentives? If its worth not shopping BBB anymore because the price of K-cups went up 5 1/2 cents each, I don't know where they will shop and be happy. I like my local BBB and the people there.

Tip to beat increasing prices

I love my Keurig. However, the increasing prices are really turning me off. I still buy K Cups, and appreciate that I can find a large selection locally (BB&B has the largest selection), but I've found something that helps keep my coffee costs down. I purchased a Solofill. (you can buy at BB&B or Amazon). I wouldn't suggest the My KCup.. get the Solofil. Anyway, the Solofill is a little red cup that pops in the Keurig, you fill it with your own coffee. Works GREAT. I use this most of the time, but if I'm being lazy or want a specific coffee, then I use a regular K cup.
