Do not buy. Motor died way to soon. Customer service will not let you exchange without a receipt to provide a date on proof of purchase, even though the serial number should give a recent manufacturing date. I don't think I'll buy Cuisinart again.

Do not, do not, do NOT buy this product. It stopped working after ONE day and the cuisinart customer service was HORRIBLE. Luckily Bed Bath Beyond said that they can accept with back without a receipt, but will not be buying another cuisinart product anytime soon.

This blender is of poor quality though it looked nice and solid at first sight . You have to blend very small quantities if you don't want to spread it all over your kitchen.
Mine gave quickly a smell of burn and didn't last long .
Don't buy it !

I would give it 0 stars if I could. We got this blender for Christmas and it quit the second time we used it. Apperently frozen fruit, yogart and milk is just to much for it to handle. We will be returning it today. Total waste of time and money!!

I bought this blender and used it for smoothies and stopped working the same night! All I used was well cut up fruits and ice...no logical reason this would have happened. I left it off for a few hours and then even overnight and the light flashes like it is ready to operate and it still DOES NOT WORK! Needless to say I will be taking it right back to BBB and getting my money back! I should have got the Ninja!

The stupid thing shuts off! When I'm in a hurry and need to make my meal replacement shake on the way out the door, I don't need it shutting off when I throw in a few pieces of fruit and a handful of ice! I have had cheaper blenders that performed much better. Let's just say that parts of this blender ended up across the room this morning!

This is the only cuisinart item I have owned that wasn't excellent. This is the worst blender I have ever owned. It gives off a burnt smell almost immediately after beginning to use it. It won't blend anything unless there is a lot of liquid in it so all my sauces and concoctions come out too watered down. If you want to blend anything frozen you can just forget it. Don't waste your money.

I have had this blender for awhile now, I don't use it a whole lot, mostly because I hate using it. I have seen many reviews for it saying that it dies quickly so I am just waiting for it to do so that way I can get a better one. With pure liquids it works just fine, though it does produce a burning electronic smell. I like to make frozen drinks and I have an awful time getting it to mix anything. I constantly have to turn it off, stick a spoon inside and try to get the pieces of ice or fruit near the blades. I would never recommend this product to anyone!

I had an Oster blender for 20 years. Worked great until the very end. So, I bought this blender thinking that the cuisinart was probably a better choice. After only 1 1/2 years, the thing blew on me, sparks flying out of the bottom, then nothing. I did send in the warrenty on line but when I called them they told me that would do me no good without the receipt. a lot of help they were. Trust me I won't be buying another one.
