The soap dispenser in this set is really very pretty, but the pump stopped working after two weeks!! I replaced that, but the paint inside seemed to be dissolving after just a month, as mentioned by other shoppers!! Doesn't anyone test these products?? It seems so obvious that the paint should be stable. I use only SOFTSOAP brand, so it wasn't my brand of soap. A waste of money!!!!!

This is a gorgeous set. After only a month, gold paint, which appeared as yellow metal on lotion pump, was chipping. There was a crusty substance on the stem and neck of the bottle. Looked very bad!! Returned for exchange.

Beautiful But Did Not Last

These are absolutely gorgeous. I was so happy to find them. I purchased two lotion dispensers and one tumbler.

Unfortunately, like the other reviewer, I only had them for about a week and a half and the paint began to fade from both of them. With one of them, my soap turned a very dark color and smelled bad. I am not sure why some of these seem to fade and others do not.

I returned mine for something else but I really wish these would have worked out for me. They really are beautiful. I suppose the other items in the set would not run the risk of fading like the lotion dispensers did.

Perhaps there is just a bad batch out there?

Better luck to others who buy these.

I have all of the pieces to this set. It is very pretty and classy looking. I dropped the garbage and I am buying another one because I love this set. Would definitely recommend this set. I have no paint missing on any of my pieces.

I bought the soap pump and tooth brush holder. The pieces are so beautiful. But after a month of using them I noticed the paint was coming off from inside of the soap pump, and three months down the line it was barely gold anymore at all. The pump also stopped working. The toothbrush holder has held on to it's color much better because it's obviously not holding any type of liquid inside. Thankfully Bed Bath and Beyond has a great return policy! I love these items and can't find anything comparable it's a shame that they're not made well.
