I have the jar full of green trinkets for St Patricks Day and then added a battery pack with small LED lights. Looks so fantastic. Can change what is inside for the seasons

ItI bought two of these jars, because they are amazing! I highly recommend it. The price is excellent for the quality they have. They are sturdy, thick, easy to clean and beautiful. They are great to prevent moisture from getting into food. Plus: they are huge! They fit so much stuff. LOVE them!

This is a fantastic jar. Heavy, substantial. A MULTITUDE of uses: flour in the kitchen, soaps in the bath, sand, shells and candles on the table top. Great for pet treats, cookies, snacks. Looks great on the buffet table too, for parties. Buy one! You'll never run out of ways to use it. Additionally, it's made in the USA!!!

Perfect for a 5-lb bag of flour!

I love that these jars are perfect for a 5-lb bag of flour. I'm tired of lifting those heavy bags in and out of cupboards. I don't have much counter space so at first I was worried that these jars would be as big as the ones used by the Barefoot Contessa and Paula Deen... but upon receiving the items I realized that those must have been the 2-gallon jars. These 1-gallon jars are just perfect for the extra space on my kitchen island. I placed it right in front of my rolling space so I won't need to move the jars around as they're heavy. Just recently I dropped a jar of sugar as I was getting it out of the cupboard because I didn't bother to wash my floured hands! Very upsetting. I plan to get a couple more of these jars later on for beans and other dried goods. The lid doesn't seal so it's not advisable to store sugar in them. Anyway, I love these jars, period. I'm a fan of Anchor Hocking and I hope they will keep making quality products here in the USA for years to come.
