Great little product for the price. Easy to use and clean. I use a basic Spaetzle recipe I found on line and it's perfect. My husband loves it.

Used it immediately. It takes a bit of agility to maneuver it, but once you figure it out it works great. We've been eating a lot of spaetzle. 1 cup flour, 1 egg and dash of salt. Put dough in carrier and let the dough fall into the boiling water. yum with gravy

Love this gaget. It's so easy to make. I have been using it over 26 years. I was 14 when I purchased the Spatzle maker at Lechters. I followed the directions on the box along with the recipe and never had any problems. Very easy to use and to clean you run it throuhg hot water first to get all the dough off.

I ordered a spaetzle maker to take as a hostess gift. My friends and I cook a lot. I just made spaetzle the other night for a party to go with my coq au vin. I think the negative review was too bad. I wish I could have seen that before she thew it away. Obviously she didn't know how to use the tool. I am going to begin experimenting on whole wheat mixture combining with regular flour.

Spaetzle Maker

Makes German pasta a breeze. Just spray the grate with cooking oil or butter before you start. The recipes can be found on line (2 cups of flour, 2 eggs, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 cup of water) Just mix it all together, and let it rest for 15 minutes. Boil water and drop the batter into the cup at the top and move the cup back and forth. The slower you move the cup the bigger the Spaetzle will be. Boil until the pasta floats to the top plus one minute. Drain and top with whatever. When you are done using the Spaetzle maker, put it in warm water immediately to clean so the batter doesn't stick and it will clean up quickly. I love mine, and bought one for all of my children.

Messiest Worst Contraption

This was the messiest worst contraption I have ever met. There is no plunger to help push the dough through. It came in the mail with no instructions or recipe.
I threw it away, because trying to wash it was futile.
