I purchased this pillow from the store so I was able to look at it before I purchased it. I gave it 5 stars because it was well made and the price is right. I'm 5'3" and the measurements of 24"w x 26"l x 7"d was perfect for me. The only thing i didn't like was that it is too firm for my liking. I'm returning it and going to search for a soft to medium memory foam wedge.

It stopped his snoring!

I purchased the Bed Wedge for myself a year ago, on the recommendation of my doctor, to prevent acid reflux. I bought another for my husband, who is such a heavy snorer, I was losing valuable sleep. HIS SNORING STOPPED IMMEDIATELY, upon using it.
It is not meant to replace your pillow, but to raise the upper portion of the body enough to breathe easier. We both use our regular pillows on top of the wedge so we can continue to sleep on our side.
On the rare occasion I might hear him snore now, I just remind him to 'scoot up on your wedge', and the snoring stops. I highly recommend this product! Well worth trying before using expensive medical breathing equipment.

Wow! Thank you so much for this pillow. It is always gratifying to purchase a product that meets or exceeds your expectations.
After months of sinus issues I spent the first night in a full sleep in a long time. I found it to be orderless and effective as soon as I laid my head on it.
It does take a little getting used to. I like to side-sleep and I have a hard time finding a comfortable place for my arms. I do find more comfort/support the higher my head is up the pillow.
First night was without sinus sprays and pills!
It is a little big, so travel may be an issue(?). I will look for smaller one on the net for travel only.
BTW, it seems to just the correct height.
To breath at night .... what a gift!

Really made a difference

I purchased this pillow after struggling to stack regular pillows to get comfortable and prevent acid reflux while pregnant. I can't tell you what a difference this pillow made - I went from not sleeping and waking with horrible heartburn all night to sleeping through the night. I do not use this pillow alone - some have complained about how hard it is. I use it was a base and then place my thin memory foam pillow on top of it and it works perfectly.

Really debated about buying this hunk of foam or memory foam wedge. I have a great mattress, and felt I wanted the same comfort I paid for in my mattress with out to much cost. I figured if I bought the memory foam wedge, it would just flatten out. So I bought this wedge, very reasonable price. Then I also purchased the memory foam bath rug, which is the same width but longer and extremely soft covering, feels as good or better than my 800 count sheets. Slap my new memory foam pillow on top of that ( I bought a new pillow also) Wow it works great. Very, very comfortable and if your trying to sleep, worth spending a little extra money to make it perfect. Of course I always use their coupons.

I tried this pillow for a couple of days. It worked well for my acid reflux. But, caused me neck and back pain even with a pillow. The bed wedge was too hard and not wide enough for a king size pillow. This is not for side sleepers. Good for being propped up to watch T.V. or reading. I only noticed a slight odor the first day that went away. I bought one that is wider and only 5 inches high that suits me much better.

I agree with most of the other reviewers that there was no odor right out of the box. The pillow is very firm and the elevated height is perfect, not too high, but high enough to make a difference. I don't sleep directly on this, I use a softer thinner pillow right on top. I'm a bigger than average person, so it's not as wide as I would like - exactly the half of a queen size bed - but it's only by a little. Great for those with reflux or chest colds.

This is an excellent wedge pillow. The price is outstanding (and I had a BB&B coupon!), the cover is deluxe (large enough to wash and not shrink), and the pillow has NO ODOR! Best buy ever! I bought it in the local store, no shipping chgs, but it is a great product wherever you buy it.

The smell... OH, the smell!

I purchased this pillow last week at my local BB&B store, hoping to use it and sleep well that night. I have been unable to try it out yet because the foam pillow has a terrible, sickening factory smell (something like toxic paint fumes). It's been sitting in a chair (out of the pillowcase) airing out for several days, and it hasn't gotten better. The smell is truly nauseating and gives me a headache when I go sniff it to see if it has improved. If the smell isn't faded later this week, I'll have to return it and purchase a wedge pillow elsewhere. I'm very disappointed.

I recently purchased this pillow after struggling to sleep each night sitting up with 2-3 pillows following a bout with pnuemonia. This pillow has been extremely helpful in helping me sleep at night and is very comfortable with another pillow placed on top. It's just the right angle to sleep reclined and is worth every penney. Well Worth the Money

Before buying this pillow I suffered pinched nerves in my neck several times a month, which resulted in countless trips to the chiropractor to have the pinched nerve worked out. I had to sleep with 2-3 pillows to prop up my head so I could breathe.

I bought my pillow nearly 2 years ago, and it's been one of the best investments I've ever made. I throw one pillow on top of my bed wedge pillow and I'm able to sleep much more comfortably, and I don't wake up unable to turn my head due to a pinched nerve.

And even though it's nothing more than a hunk of foam, it's held up amazingly well! It hasn't gone flat or lost its shape. Anything that can hold up in my household HAS to be well-made!

I even take it with me when I travel. I highly recommend this for anyone who needs to have their head elevated at night.

I love this! love the way you can sit it upright and watch tv, etc in the bed. Do you have severe allergy issues; to where you can't lie on your back? I did to, but once I bought this; my problems went away. It's very awesome! I would highly recommend this to anyone! It is avaliable in stores (that's the only way I do it); and it's cheaper than Wal-Mart.! This is a must have for anyone! Very good quality built product! It may be a little hard to lay your head on; so therefore you can lay your pillow on it (which I did) and it still works! Wonderful Product! :-)
